Hi BusinessBuilders,

Thanks for sending in your designs.
My favourite of yours is #36. The one thing I don't like about it, is that it looks a little like something from the God Father. This is absolutely not what I am wanting.

The logo needs to appear trustworthy and dependable, not something where it gives you cause to question someones ethics in any way, shape or form.

If there is a way we can remove these aspects and add some of the desirable ones, that would be great. I appreciate you creativity, would love to see more logos from you.
Keep it up,
Thanks again

Hi BusinessBuilders,

Thank you for entry #45. I really like it. I said in the brief, no cheesy magnifying glasses, but somehow you have pulled it off and made it look good... so thank you.

It really captures the investigation aspect of what we do.

Going forward, I think it would be great to see some different font variations, different colour variations to the fingerprint and some other colour aspects to the overall logo.

Thanks for your work, it looks great! I think this one has a solid place in the top 5.

Hi

Thanks for sending the variation in. I have an idea that I would really like to explore with you in terms of colors and fonts... on entry #45
The font and color of design #31 look really great. The words seem to shine and stand out from the page. Can we have the same font and color on your entry number #45? (still lower case investment and upper case PI)

I think if my clients see your design with the attractive colors with the lettering that seems to elegantly shine (a bit like the apple logo), that is a logo that would look really impressive!

I also wanted to see if you have any suggestions to make the magnifying glass more stylish?

Thank you,

I think I understand that you want a gradient version with a fill on the lettering.... I can try that - but you will probably still want a solid version for when it goes through a copy machine or to be printed on pens where it should stay in solid colors.

Thanks for your feedback.

I can understand about the printing aspect. At this stage I would like to make the logo as brilliant as possible so let's focus on this and throw the printing out the window. I will deal with that later.

If you can add anything that would make it more spectacular and visually and emotionally stimulating, then let's add it. Please done feel restricted with the printing aspect.

Thanks

I also had a quick thought about seeing if we could make the magnifying glass have a slight glass shine to it. I think this would add another dimension to the logo.

Thanks

Thanks for the updates.

Improvements:
The colors are getting closer to looking impressive, but they arent quite there yet. On a close look, the colors inside the magnifying glass are different from the rest of the word investment. I think it needs to be all uniform otherwise it looks like a fragmented piece of artwork (more on this below). The rounded end of the magnifying glass looks good. There is a beige colored stripe on the bottom left of the magnifying glass that blocks part of PI (in #55), so this needs to go... Which I think you have already done in your revised designs.

The black background in #56 doesn't really do it for me, so let's stick with a white background.

There looks like there is a purple shade within the magnifying glass, this needs to stay as clear, like it would be on a normal magnifying glass. The glass shine I am looking for can be seen at apple.com whenever you look at one of their products there is a really clean looking glass shine which adds a lot of class to their products... I am looking for the same.

I have been pouring over thousands of fonts all morning to try and find the right one and the right color scheme to match. After all this, I think the best color and font combination is what was used in #42. The font used in #42 looks more sleek, professional and the color gradient combination looks great. The lettering also seems to have a really elegant shine. So let's try to do the same... The shine is really important, it really makes or breaks the logo.

The fingerprint needs to stay the beige color, which I think you are running with.

Thanks for all your efforts. Can't wait to see the changes .)
