What We Do
The International Law Section of the State Bar of Texas is a non-profit organization run by members and volunteers. It is comprised of a group of mostly Texas based lawyers and attorneys who have an international law expertise. There are continued education courses where lawyers gather and network and learn and share their knowledge about their experiences with law in different industries and in different countries.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
Above, I think we need all words includes, those being: International Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. That is a lot a know. So I am open to variations on that. Once the logo is selected I would then like to see another logo created for the Institute which is the annual conference that is in March.

Now that the first few have come in, I don't think the work "of" is necessary. Can you take that out?
For future options I'd also like to see some element of international, global, world in the logo. Thank you!

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

- Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
- Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
- Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
- Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
- The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
- Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
- Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
- Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
- Top 5 Phase. Only the top 5 RANKED DESIGNERS will be able to submit entries.
You can then rank Top 5 DESIGNERS in order for them to upload their revised/new logo designs.
- After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
- While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

Further input from my group that I thought would be helpful.....For the blue space, white space or red space in each of the logos, is there a way (without crowding it too much or creating too much complexity) to add an element of “international” to those backgrounds (like a world map, even with rough outlines of the continents)? I like how Texas and its colors pop out, but other than the word international, and the fact that the circle design could be viewed as a proxy for a 2d globe, there’s not much that’s global about the design. Even if the world/continent outlines was black and white with the red/white/blue TX scheme popping out, or maybe a B&W globe with just Texas filled in color or something like that.

Another idea. Can you do something to have Texas, in color as you have it in several of these examples, centered in the middle of the a globe with blue waters and sand colored land, perhaps with lines making it appear that Texas is blown up from its position to the left in North America?

Thank you all for your submissions on this. I have been thoroughly impressed. I have narrowed it down to 5 and I am awaiting further input from my committee. I will be in touch. We might require some minor tweaks in regards to color, wording. But these look great! Thank you all!
