Thanks Magestic! This is going in the direction we like. I like #6 better than #7 because I don't love the blue and green graphic. If you could change the font type on #6 to look more European-romantic, it would be close to what we want.

Recieved your message and have changed font from ( Lands Downie ) To ( Henry Morgan Hand ) And
( Edwardain Script )

(This comment references Entry #12 & #13)

QUESTION? Would it be ok with you if I incorporated the Church Drawing as is into the background of the logo?
This drawing is not my own design and in order to submit it as a background I need your permission before I do so.

Please feel free to request changes as that's what Im here for. I have looked at all the photos online and would like to request that one be used in your logo if you would like?

incorporating the church drawing would be fantastic -- permission granted.
I like the font on #13 best. How about a different color? Something natural looking (brown maybe).
What would it look like to slant the cross to the right, like the font is?

Please feel free to request adjustments and changes, This is the first time I have used a drawing and transformed it into a logo? Let me know what you think.

This design is just simply easy and Majestic looking, The glow around the cross says it all. I was working on the background when I thought ? This needs no background I will just submit it like it is.

I love where we're going with these. #19 and #18 are our favorites so far. Can you educate me some on how to use a logo that has a background like this? For instance, would the business cards need to be printed with this background? Or can we print on white? I'm figuring out how to use this on business cards, website, and print ads.

Received your message about printing business cards and presenting images on your web page.
The easiest printing processes and most cost efficient are basic black and white with a few shades.
When you have a bright Gold that transforms or transitions into black for example. ( A Gradient Fade ) The cost for printing is a little more depending on the printer and the printers experience. In most cases the printing is pro rated and done as a package deal on a flat rate. Even if your printing job is more detailed than any other they have ever seen they will normally charge a flat dollar rate for business cards.
Business cards sell in package deals like for example ( 500 Cards for $60 to $125 3 Colors ) Depending on what part of the USA you are in.
Brochures and magazine printers are a little more savvy when it comes to printing jobs and will evaluate the job more closely and it is always good advice to get a sample of the work performed before rolling the printing presses. I have always told my clients to stay with the printer and also have a printout of the work that is being done with them before hand . For example if you are going to have a sign made , you need to have a visual aid for the printer to see so that the results match. You are Quality Control Advisor when you take any image to the printing presses.
Web page images are much more user friendly because you upload what the designer sends you into your web page HTML most often in a JPG format. If you are paying a webmaster and having this done for you it is not a big deal to upload a image file and place it on your web page. Image size and resolution are issues that are simple to resolve. Most all the Designers I know would be pleased to assist in altering or resizing an image for a good client.
When this contest is over , the winning design will be sent to you in a EPS format and also in a JPG format.
The background will be in the image and after the contest the winning designer has an obligation to assist you for two weeks If I understand all the fine print. However it works , We can resolve your problems as they arise . Hope this helps you a little in understanding the processes of printing.
Feel free to ask all and any questions you have.
The cross? I leaned the cross to the right and it blended in with the text but somehow it just did not look right to me ? Let me know what you would like me to do ? Should I bend the lower half of the Cross and do a half and half leaned right?

I agree the leaning cross didn't look quite right. I like it straight up and down in the new design best.

Can I see #s 18 and 19 on a white background, with the logo being a golden-brownish color?

The background has been changed to white as requested on both #18 & #19.

Your concepts are our favorites so far. I'll be taking a break from checking this until after Christmas. I'd like to see this in black and white as well, so I can get an idea of how it would appear if we ever had to use in black and white. And using the same idea with the cross, but see it in a new font type just so I have some options to choose from. Great job! Thank you so much.

Thank You Vary Much For The Kind Words, I will see what I can design for you and with a little luck I will have some new ideas and some new concepts for you to look at when you get back after Christmas Holidays. I will take #18 & #19 and turn them into black and white for you and then get creative and see what I can design new.

This is a black & white image file of #19 and #18 as reguested. I took some extra time and converted the background into black & white also so you could see what the shade would look like.

I've updated our rankings. Could you put the cross from #18 into the #33 design? I like the cross in #18 better I think.

Received your message and have made changes to #33 . The cross from #18 stands out more because of the darker golden brown background. When I moved the cross from #18 to #33 I could not see much of a change so I added a hair line boarder to the cross in #33 to try and make it stand out more. If you would like me to make the cross a little larger in #33 that might enhance the effect a little more. As always , please feel free to request changes. I’m open to suggestions at this point.
#55 is #33 with a hairline boarder on Cross.
#56 is #33 with a 15% Cross size increase.

Let's see #33 with just a regular t and not a cross.
And the background looks a little grainy, not white. But that could just be my dirty computer screen. :-)
We're getting very close. Thank you.

This design is without the cross #63 as requested in your message. The text is Edwardain Script. I have also changed the cross in the next design #64 just to see what you think?

Love it. I've updated rankings. If we choose this logo do you provide the colors used so we can make sure we always print it right?
