Entry #10, I've used the two lower case i's to represent the people who provide the insurance intelligence. The arc around the g represents your gathering of the right group of people to provide the best service. The typography and colours are used to create a professional and organised feel.
It is hard to convey intelligence in a logo. The smaller case letters to me convey casual and my dealings and these dealing in particular involve millions of dollars. I wrote over $150,000,000 in business last year in death benefit and these are high finance transactions. This is a nice logo but I need it professional, edgy and somehow conveying the highest level of sophisticated planning.
#18 is designed to show that the business does not need garish gimmicks to prove itself. It is confident that success speaks for itself.
The interlocking letter of #18 and #14 might describe the planning aspect of your work. There is careful planing in interlocking separate business elements to provide a balanced and whole product or service.
Robin, I agree with your comments on #18. Understating speaks to my audience. I like the font but I am ambivalent about the symbol. It occurred to me to mention that in all the plans there's a point we manage every to where it stands on its own. We borrow the maximum money for the premium at a low interest rate 3.5% and the policy earns 7-8%. At some point the cash in the policy overtakes the money owed on the loan. At that point the money is withdrawn from the policy and the loan paid off leaving the policy to stand on its own. That is the point of all our planning. All my affluent clients recognize the historical statistics are in their favor and they have the wherewithal to weather fluctuations in interest rates and policy earnings. That point where the policy cash values exceed the loan balance is where we are aiming for...that intersection point. Hope this helps.
#27 and #28... Using the double 'I' initial to graph the return surpassing the investment. I think this still needs some refinement but I wanted to get the concept past you for your thoughts while I'm working on it.
#57 Some refinements to the design and the addition of the cross hairs. The first 'I' represents the loan balance and the second 'I' (for Intelligence) represents the policy value surpassing even the chart itself. The cross hair sits firmly at the intersection where return exceeds investment.
