Our Ideas & Additional Information
Please review the following page on our web-site: http://www.inpore.com/technology, especially the sketch. The key attribute of our product is its porosity – this is what distinguishes it from all other products. The concept of porosity must be incorporated, in some manner, in the logo. One property enabled by the porosity is networking – it uniquely allows the particles and the polymer chains to form a strength-enhancing network.

The logo should say something about the company. Our name "InPore" does that. A useful logo should probably give us both the word "InPore" and a graphic icon representation of what that means.

Admin note: The client misjudged and has multiple decision makers out of town for the next week. The contest will be resumed once these decision makers are available and can provide feedback. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We would like to start by thanking all of the designers for their submissions - the overall quality is quite superb. We would also like to apologize - several of our team members were out of town during the first part of the contest and were not able to provide the timely feedback needed.

We have feedback and are ready to re-open the contest for a few days.

The logos submitted have helped us shape our ideas and have given us more clarity in terms of what we want. Part of this clarity is realizing that we prefer an abstract mark. From our perspective, we have divided the logo into two parts: the graphical element and the textual element.

With regard to the graphical element:
- #56 is the current favorite. We would be interested in seeing some ‘third dimensionality’ added to this element as well as variants using blue and green.
- #65 is the second favorite. We would like some more definition of the element to make the 3D pop more.
- #37/38 are interesting because of the particle network, but the overall element does not work for us

With regard to the textual element:
- The letters should be solid color – no fades, etc.
- We like the use of different colors for “In” and “Pore”. We prefer this to mixed case.
- The penetration of the “P” into the “N” and/or the “R” into the “O” is an element we no longer feel strongly about.
- #18 the font used for ‘technologies’ is nice and clean. We like the use of all lower case for ‘technologies’, but we prefer that it be the same width as ‘InPore’
- #56 has a good font, but we think that it may look better with the ‘E’ being squared off and not rounded
- We would like to see blue/green (like #61) and blue/orange (like #65) variants

Please note that with the very large number of entries, we were not able to properly rank all entries. We did try to rank the first dozen or so as the ones we like best.

Dear CH,
For your information, by the way you didn't know, when the contest is in "judging" period just the designer ranked first can send variations and updates of their logos.
If you want to ask for changes for any designer you need to rank him/her first.... after you can switch anytime the first rank position between designers and ask for the last changes to fine tune your logo before select the winner.

Bests and Good Luck
