Hi! I like the icon on all of these but not so keen on the typeface, perhaps something a bit more square (we are a billing company after all ... squares all around ;) Also it's very similar to Oracle's typeface which is a problem for me (they are a competitor).

We had a meeting about this and we think that the darkness of the logo is a bit .. dark :). It's sucking us into an eternal void. Perhaps we could try some different or lighter colours? Thanks!

Hi, I love #144! can you play around a little with the scale of the icon vs the text for me?
#141 is good too but i won't rank it tonight (it's bed time). thanks!

Hi Athy, I really like where you're going with this, I like the circle, and I was about to suggest something like #175 because it is similar to a power switch symbol.

I was wondering if you could submit an entry which has the "i" at the top of the circle like in a real power switch symbol? see e.g. http://images.google.com.au/images?q=power+switch+symbol

Not sure how this is going to look but I think it's worth a try. Will be a pretty striking image if we can make something that works. I have to say that I like almost all of the designs you've submitted... top job! makes mine hard tho. :)

I quite like #182 as well. I'm going to extend the competition by a couple of days so that we don't have to stress too much.

Thanks for the feedback Lilly!
I will get on it. Even after the contest ends, i can still submit designs, just so you know.
Thanks again for keeping in touch!

These are the first options. I will try a few different things to see which works best shortly.
Thank you!

Hi, thanks I was just reading the FAQs and realised that once we've selected a winner then I can ask for revisions. But I still need to get some others to look at it to make sure I'm not on the wrong track with the ideas. I am concerned that the power switch symbol might be seen as being too evil by some of my staff :) But it's pretty apt since we're the guys that will turn your internet off if you don't pay :) (I'm not really a bad guy).

I don't know if you intended this (I assume so) but I like how the original icon (#144 I think) still had the two dots, basically one within the other. I thought that was really clever.

Regarding #200, I was thinking more along the lines of simply inverting #175 and then inverting the "i". I like the proportions of #175 better than #200, it's just upside down (sort of). The "i" might need to sink down inside the circle a little bit.

For your information I liked almost all your designs but the ones that looked like #155 were out of the question for me as they are almost identical in colours and style to the logo for my old business from 10 years ago. I know you wouldn't have known that but certain other people would have just assumed I'd borrowed it.

Thanks for your effort on this, good luck! :)

Crap, I said #155 but I meant #115, apologies for that... not supposed to refer to other designer's stuff.

ok, you're way ahead of me.

with #202 is easily my favourite so far, could you do me a favour and see if you can square the ends of the semicircle? so that it looks more like the image here:

http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/monitors/2001fp/GRAPHICS/icon-power-button.gif

I don't want the double-outer-circle of course.

Hi Mark. Sorry for the missunderstanding!
Here are some other options. Let me know which is the right direction and we can build on that. Then we can work on the font too. I myself think the icon would suit your bussines well as it convey's a feeling of security and it's not an 'in your face' power button, and it's clean and simple at the same time.

Hi Alex, thanks for the revisions. I'm pretty hooked on the power button #208. Could we try a couple of variations:

1. With the "i" a bit lower down so that the top of the main part of the letter (not the dot) is aligned with where it would intersect the circle, and

2. With the ends of the semicircle a bit closer to the "i"

If you don't mind could I get each variation on it's own based on #208, and then one with both variations? I might not like any of them but I think it's worth a shot.

Hi - thanks for the variations but in comparison, I think your first one was perfect. I'll get the others here to check it out and give me feedback. Thanks! Mark.

Thank you too. I'll try to come up maybe with some other variations so I can cover all posibilities.
And wait for the feedback.

OK one question, will you be cool to give us a couple of versions of the logo in different colours? I've decided that I would like a corporate-blue version and a green-web version. Let me know what the deal would be ... I think I'm going to close the competition shortly, as soon as I get some final feedback. Cheers!

No problem in providing you any new variations or already submited. I do that for all my clients, with no extra charge.

I'll post color variations shortly.

Hi Alex, congratulations!

Thanks for the feedback, yeah we'd just like some colour variations. We're just looking for a pale blue "corporate" version and/or maybe a darker blue version.

Anyway - thanks for coming up with this logo, I'm really very very happy with the whole thing, and quite impressed with Logo Tournament as well, in particular the Logo Court which took me completely by surprise.

Are you interested in additional work? We don't have anything specific right this moment but we do use a lot of icons in our (large) web application and I'd be interested in seeing how much it would cost to replace them; and sometimes we just need new ones made. Let me know or contact me at mark@inomial.com.

Cheers
