welcome designers!

this is my fifth use of logo tournament - so, i know how the system works and how to communicate with designers about what works and what doesn't work. this is a spin off company from my last logo design, which was RIoT Secure - but, with a dedicate focus in the industrial IoT space. the focus is security, industry 4.0 and the internet of things.

INGWAZ is a rune stone - it may be of some interest to incorporate into the logo but it isn't a requirement. we are completely flexible with ideas and cannot wait to see what people throw together.

looking forward to the submissions!

FIRST RANKING DONE - VERY PRELIMINARY

hi designers, the first rankings have been done - we've filtered out what works and what doesn't work off the bat. by all means; the rankings are not 100% at the moment, if you are in the current "ranked" list; there are ideas we like from a number of designs which hopefully we can merge / blend to create the perfect logo as needed.. a few things we did like:

- upper case for the INGWAZ name
- a strong, well defined clear font for the text
- unique features of interest:
== integration of the rune stone (on some)
== integration of cloud concepts
== integration of security/shield
- a caption with "SECURE DEVICE LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT" (optional) is a good inclusion
- color seems to be more preferential towards blue/darker - not too bright in appearance

simplicity is important; but portraying a message of ecosystems/life and birth, growing and death of objects is what the project is all about. i do not think enough has been presented to pick a clear path - it is still day 1, we will rank daily based on the submissions.

if your logo ended up in the "not interested" bin, do not feel it is a rejection; but we had to divide up from the 120+ entries we received in the first few hours.. to help not only us get a clear idea of what we like; but also allow you, as designers to get a feel for what works and what doesn't

looking forward to future updates

do not hesitate to leave a comment on any of your submissions (ranked or marked not interest) - we'll answer everyones comments - it also gives you a chance to ask us specific questions. communication is important with all these contests - so, use it to your advantage!

UPDATE - still mixing ideas, this is excellent; the ranking does not reflect which is best or worse; if it is still in the running - it simply means that we like the concept and designs.. still want to see variations, not copies of what people have done.. we will start doing official rankings later in the blind phase.

@abdul - thanks for the clarification.

i'm seeing a lot of good ideas come through - but i think what is missing is a link to the technology itself. the product is about device lifecycle management, while a number of designers get that concept - i think we need more 'technical attributes'..

the product delivers firmware over the air to micro-controllers/CPU's.. i would like to see some designs that integrate the more technical side of things.. we have a number of elegant designs already.

300+ entries - well done designers!

we have dome some rankings; of our top 12 designers and their logos'.. we've only kept one of each style so we can focus on the different aspects when it comes to the finals rounds. thank you to everyone who has contributed. we have a lot of ideas and look forward to revisions!

congratulations to

@Shiwa95Design
@dezinbizz
@MilanZ
@Zums
@MINIMA

to be selected as the finalists - you've stood out with your designs, but, now is the time to revise and tweak to build the perfect concept.. of course, thank everyone else for participating; but it'll come down to these five designers now.

thanks to everyone who participated - we are currently voting internally on the best designs, it will be a close one. we've also just recently heard about a dispute in the contest which we will overturn - we do not believe there has been any theft in designs, in fact - we sent messages individually to everyone (almost direct copies) with hints and ideas for inspiration. it is unfortunate that we would see such a dispute in these contests.

CONGRATULATIONS to MINIMA!

a number of great designs were added; in the end the popular vote ended up choosing the logo from our internal team, the end results being very close indeed... if could have gone any way if we had a few more employees!

i wish to thank all those who participated and were involved in this tournament - it is the hard work and dedication that makes these a success. unfortunately; there can only be one winner - but i totally understand the value of still being 2nd or 3rd and even a finalist on your account.
