I am so excited about your new project! :) I love babies, and it's an honor to be a part of helping your new brand identity come to life! You make an extremely helpful, beneficial product for babies everywhere, and that is a wonderful thing. Excellent!
The thing consumers want most with this product: a happy baby! So instead of showcasing the problem (which would only serve to turn off consumers, and alienate them because it's not pleasant to think of), I'm showcasing the desired result: a happy baby. This will help your products become more attractive in the eye of consumers, and give them some satisfaction that they're buying a happy baby...both on the package and as the end result of using what's in the package.
These two concepts are distinguished by the color range used for each. One other great thing about this concept: you can always change colors used to distinguish different products from each other. And you'll be able to still keep your brand image consistent across all product lines -- a highly desirable scenario when you're building a brand. :)

Thank you for all your submissions. I am not sure I like the image of the baby or the graphics surronding it. The ability of changing colors is a good idea though.
I think I specified in my notes that the name of the company should not be included in the logo. I don't know if anyone reads the notes...

Thanks for your feedback! Since I'd not seen a copy of your current logo, and I was attempting to get a feel for how to place the product name under what would be a company logo (because of packaging I envisioned in the future) I listed the company name to balance out the logo. I'm referencing Children's Tylenol, Children's Robitussin, et cetera -- they all have the company name above the product.
So please forgive the placement of it; I wanted to be able to give you a comprehensive design, just as you'd see on retail packaging.
If you have a copy of your current logo, please do upload it here. It would be easier to envision how your company logo would fit with your need for product logos.
Also, if you have any packaging currently, that would help myself and other Designers see how the product logo would fit on the packaging. Even a "mock" package, found on places like iStockphoto.com, could be referenced as "this is the kind of packaging I'll be using." It's true that many Clients don't have a package before they gain a logo, but if the logo is not designed to fit on the general package shape before the logo is bought and paid for, you may have to re-do the product logo (or buy more expensive packaging) in the future.
Please let all Designers know via a brief update if you have a link to the current logo, or you could also upload an attachment of it here.

Thank you for the kind words! I agree with you wholeheartedly. I happened to google your product name...and discovered your current logo. It is definitely not my style; unfortunately, I just couldn't see my design work being paired with your style. It's unfortunate; it happens all the time though, in a world with a wide range of different people, preferences, and tastes.
