I love the simplicity of #71. I'd like something perhaps added to it so that if we're having to use an all black version of it (maybe printed on the side of our shipping box) it has some distinction to it. We really like the idea of maybe the letter "g" being slightly different or more intriguing since it's such a pretty letter. Also, maybe the letters could connect or interact in some way?
I like the elegance that the script "ip" has. Is there a way to incorporate some of that elegance into either 71 or 77 without literally using the script? Just maybe try to convey a similar feel? Like the addition of the swirly "g" in 77 but lacks the elegance of a more "expensive" brand that we're looking for. Very nice work, though!
We still do really like 71 - so simple but great! The other thing we really like is the combined i & p in 75 to make a standalone symbol. Do you think you could do something similar out of 71?
Here's the thing with the combined i&p on 75. It feels a little more "corporate" and not retail-friendly enough. That's why we like 71, 77, 131 & 130. They seem like they could be a store logo easily. We're not sure if we can keep that retail friendly feeling and get a symbol out of it - that's what we're leaving up to you!
I like 131 better than 130 in the new design. Can you remove all of the leaves and just leave the swirl? Maybe try just one more version of 71 with some of the letters connected in some way like ligatures? Just a thought.
I think we still like the simplicity and formality of 71. Can you try making one of the words bolder than the other so that when it's a grayscale/black logo, the words stand apart from each other? Maybe indigo slightly bolder than prints?
Maybe also is there another very similar font with a little bit more intricate lower case g? Just looking at some fonts that have what I'm talking about: Filosofia, Didot display or headline.
The lower case "g" is such an interesting letter that we're looking for that to add personality to an otherwise simple word.
We feel the treatment to the "g" in #77 is a little too much but have ranked it high because we are definitely looking for something to standout on that letter.
