We would like to emphasize the first two letters in the word Independence (iN) - Example: iNdependence
We would like to include something for shopping, dining and entertainment.

Yes of course you can use both of them. Many companies somewhere they use the wordmark and somewhere with the icon. So dont worry i will include both of them in the final files.
