Thanks for the look.(This comment references Entry #14) 15 years ago indentstudios Client Hi, I really like the direction of this. and emphasis on I is interesting... but in order to get the play on words of our company name... we feel the need to emphasize the Dagain, phonetically we pronounce our name... in Dee ent as in indie entertainment. thanks. see comment on other 15 years ago indentstudios Client on the second one... I also really like this... save im confused about the left side relevance?perhaps work the I from first into left box?thanks 15 years ago indentstudios Client one mor thought is to possibly dot the I with a D? although it might look strange 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer I completely misunderstood the name, so my apologies! I will retool these to make them both closer to what your suggestions are. The right sided logo was the idea of being "indented" which makes no sense now that I understand your name. (The red line would be the cursor.) By the way, I got on RED's website. Are you trying to stay in that vein of design?I'll go to work and have you some new comps right away.J. 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer Ok, second try with your suggestions. I will keep working at this, so let me know your thoughts! Thanks for the look. Very cool company to design a logo for.(This comment references Entry #16) 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer A second version of the original entry. Highlight the D and add the camera lens.(This comment references Entry #17) 15 years ago indentstudios Client Hi, thanks for new efforts. but I still prefer your first instincts. perhaps make more minor variations of those.I am not liking the look and feel of the round lens... mainly the grey space above seems a little too trite?I go back and forth between and upper and lower case fonts... could you play with lowercase with perhapsan uppercase D only? perhaps just make more subtle changes to ones I like as the variations can help us get there. but I definitely prefer your aesthtic so far to everyone else. Its all about the RED CAMERA and DIGITAL Filmmaking facility.thanks so much! 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer 3 more subtle changes. I took the D off the lens eye on this one and respaced the letters. The D stands out more. I darkened the grey space to be more subtle.(This comment references Entry #22) 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer Added the D to this one and iDe to the next.(This comment references Entry #23) 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer iDE.(This comment references Entry #24) 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer This is the original entry with the D changed to red.(This comment references Entry #25) 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer Another slight change on the #1. I changed the D to red to set it off.(This comment references Entry #26) 15 years ago indentstudios Client This is definitely the fav so far. Its iconic and the i stands out... as does the RED D in indent.so no more changes necessary on the #1 Rank. Can you try one thing with this and try to create a circle around the "i" with Indent Studios Wrapped above and below? i.e. an emblem version of this ... as I just updated that we want to see more emblem based logosgoing across the lens as you did is too busy for our tastes... but perhaps wrappeing around thatlens or I will do the trick?thanks so much 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer Give me a day and I a should be able to get you a few more comps. Thanks for the look. 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer Here's the emblem ideas. In each color. Let me know what you think. Thanks.(This comment references Entry #29) 15 years ago indentstudios Client This is a good start. Just not crazy about font. Can u quickly try some both with upper and lower case?also could you try one where Indent is Above and Studios alone is below?I like Rank 13, just want to see the text wrapped around top and bottom. I want to comparethat to the repeated font u chose.thanks so much. 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer GOOD CALL! I am uploading 2, one with a gradient and one with a solid black ring. I change the font a bit.(This comment references Entry #43) 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer solid black ring.(This comment references Entry #44) 15 years ago indentstudios Client OK, this is more what we are looking for on the emblem style. 2 more thoughts.1. Try ALL caps on both words and perhaps a slightly less bold font2. Instead of a LENS element in the center. Can you please try putting the "i" from the Rank 1 logo in the middle of the circle? (Im trying to combine what I like about both logos) thanks. J. so far, you are the only designer who listens or reads our "wants" and we likeyour aesthetic the best. 15 years ago indentstudios Client more explanation on 2.Its ok if the I is small... but the effect will be like its a lens reflection of the camera shooting that RED "I"hope that makes sense. 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer Ok, I'm not sure if I did this the way you were thinking, but I added the "I" to the middle of the lens. The thing is, The red "i" on the red lens was too much red, so I changed the lens to black which look super glossy and cool and then added the "I". I changed the font to a thinner font and everything is in caps. BTW, I'm new to Logo Tournament, but the reason others may not be following your directions well is because they have to be careful not to copy my work, so there are limitations. Also, this logo is not going to show up the size they show at on the website, so if you give me your e-mail, I'll shoot you a jpeg of it a little bigger. I've enjoyed this project, so let me know your thoughts and we'll keep working until we get the right one! Sorry for the long note and thanks for the look.(This comment references Entry #50) 15 years ago indentstudios Client that is EXACTLY what I wanted and I really like it. It looks like we are filming the "i" . well donenow its down to the wrapped text, and working with FONTS... but I believe you nailed it as its exactly as I hoped. the merging of to logos I liked. well done.really appreciate the feedback. Im new too. But love that Im not stuck with one designer... I have hired3 before you and all ended up with nice but really BORING text based logos.tfw@indentstudios.com (503) 348-1626 is my cell but Im travelling to NAB tomorrowand will be in conferences thru Fridayso email is best. cheersTim 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer I think this is what you were looking for. By the way, check out the red R in text around the lens. Font is a just a hair wider and the outer ring has a gradient to make it more part of the lens.(This comment references Entry #68) 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer This is the last one you've already scene with the highlight line taken off the font.(This comment references Entry #72) 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer This is the one with the center text removed.(This comment references Entry #73) 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer No text wrap on center ring.(This comment references Entry #74) 15 years ago indentstudios Client How do I rate these? 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer Here is the comp with the website.(This comment references Entry #87) 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer Web text right side up on top and bottom.(This comment references Entry #94) 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer Text on top.(This comment references Entry #96) 15 years ago Towne & Country Design Logo Designer Text on bottom.(This comment references Entry #97) 15 years ago
