It's a process leading up thus the symbol is variety leading up and towards improvement.

I dont want to be limiting in the business by adding 'consultancy' as business is predominently know for assessments and improvements, in addition to consultancy, therefore #4 and #5 should be withdrawn - thanks

I am not limited at alll to the current font used on the website, so please feel free to experiment with other font styles.

The grid you have used is relevant as main business is related to maturity models such as CMMI and SPICE, which has 5 or 6 levels of maturity and generally expressed as some sort of stairway.

Looking forward to further ideas or modifications etc.

Thanks for the prompt feedback, as they say, the good ideas come after the water has run for a while, thus i'm sure we will get exactly what your looking for.

I have been looking at logos #1 #2 and #3 for some time.
There is something wrong with them but I havent known what

the grid concept as you have is VERY relevant as it portrays a maturity model which people would associate with the company's services

however the integration of it with the letter 'i' doesnt work as-is

so I am not sure how this can be reworked in any way
but the logos as-is are looking a little 'uncomfortable'

Sorry I cant explain things any better

The emphasis in the staircase, with the last box being "circled" out the same size circle as is over the "i" the grid/staircase seems so "plain" with just the boxes, so trying to incorporate it yet keep it clean, i guess it comes down to the "feel"

#94 works ok

you could now experiment with colours e.g. grey, orangle, crimson/plum - whatever you think might work

I thought i'd try this again with the current font, it almost gives it that blend of "icon" and wordmark, the sixth step leads to impronova. Just a thought, i do admit the other one's did feel a bit uncomfortable, perhaps this one will lighten that uncomfortability.

#149 to #151 are better design than #129 & #147 & 144 - so we will remove the latter

In #150 is it possible to close the gap between the grid and the letter i in the same proportion of gap between the letters in impronova ?

Logo Designer
As per your request, the grid has the exact gap distance as the lettering, also the square on the top of the i is also the same distance from the i, as the grid is, perfect balance.

#372 and #373 the amount of colour in the circle takes attention away from the text and the company name. it is not too good on the eyes

#374 doesnt quite work

instead of the circle you could use an open square grid similar to the circle
you might then think of putting just a few points on the grid (very small circles) to represent a rating
we rate processes to different capability levels.

no time to comment further, have to take taxi to airport
there will be no further commenting between now and competition end

thanks for the inputs
