Very creative to use the negative space as the 'I'. I like the icon for #166 but I requested that no gradients be used in the logo. That's why I placed it in not interested. Nice work and thanks for the entries! 15 years ago ImageSource Client If you win, would you be able to give me a version that looks metallic (3D) for web and print usage? 15 years ago Erik Logo Designer I could try. Am I allowed to use gradients for the 3d one?:) 15 years ago Erik Logo Designer Did you mean 3d like #166 or something different like this.(This comment references Entry #213) 15 years ago Erik Logo Designer and this is the version I would embroider(This comment references Entry #214) 15 years ago ImageSource Client Sure, you can use gradients for the 3d version. I LOVE the logo you did for Invicta Armament as far as the shading and making it look metallic. You're sneaking up on the #1 spot :) 15 years ago Erik Logo Designer I'm sure you say that to all the designers :) 15 years ago springfieldstudio Logo Designer I was going to attempt this contest but your logo is genuis! 15 years ago ImageSource Client Wow! How about the comment above? I just moved you into 1st place :) I like the 3D versions you made and if you win, I would like a copy of it as well. I put them in the Not Interested folder because I've stressed that I don't want any gradients and I don't want to upset the designers. #213 is my favorite of the 3D. Would you do some different color combinations to give it some pizzaz? I like the colors the designer used that's in 3rd place. Don't worry about messing with any more 3D versions until the tournament is over. Thanks for the entries! I am so impressed with the icon you developed! Nice work!!! 15 years ago Erik Logo Designer I thickened up the outer border a little bit and think it looks better this way. Plus if you want some kind of metallic effect for the web and print it will look better at this size.(This comment references Entry #220) 15 years ago ImageSource Client Good call! I like it better as well...thanks! 15 years ago Erik Logo Designer the thicker line will work better on the style of #213. Yea, that comment was cool. I don't even know that guy. I'll private message him later. 15 years ago ImageSource Client Just curious...on #220, would it be possible to use the same concept but the icon be round instead of square? Just a thought... 15 years ago Erik Logo Designer I tried that but it tends to lose some of the effect due to inconsistent line weights on the corners, which make the S part look strange. Adjusting for it makes the I smaller.Unless you're just talking about the outer part. 15 years ago Erik Logo Designer I tried that but it tends to lose some of the effect due to inconsistent line weights on the corners, which make the S part look strange. That's how I came up with the 3d version I set on the sphere. Adjusting for it makes the I smaller.Unless you're just talking about the outer part. 15 years ago ImageSource Client That makes sense. I'm getting ready to pick a winner, keep your fingers crossed... 15 years ago Erik Logo Designer It's just a tough lettermark to pull of with the 'i' as negative space.(This comment references Entry #238) 15 years ago ImageSource Client Congratulations! I am so happy with the final product. I'll probably fool around with colors some but the icon you created is brilliant! This is my first experience with LT and I am impressed. I have a lot of clients who need logos created or updated and this is where I'll go. I'll always notify you of my tournaments. I have a friend who does my graphic design and she was blown away by my new logo. She just started a tournament today for her logo...Graphic Edge. Once I receive the .eps file, is it ok if I send you my final copy after I choose my colors so you can make it 3D? Thanks again for all the work you did! 15 years ago
