What We Do
IFA/VTD Fast-pitch is segment of IFA/VTD sports. Fast-pitch softball is a fast paced dynamic game played, in our context by female athletes from 8-18 years old and IFA/VTD softball supports the growth of the sport by providing a user driven platform for publicizing, organizing, registering and conducting tournament and events associated with fast-pitch.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
here is the current logo - we just combined companies and want something new. This isn't useful with respect to decorating apparel, there is no consistent color pattern and the words are integral to the logo - we don't want that. www.fastpitchsoftball.net
Here is another organizations logo that we think is good, for reference. http://premiergirlsfastpitch.com/home.php. and another that represents the game well and has cache among fans. www.nfca.org.

One of our biggest issues is the game is about girls and for girls, but the activities of the sport are driven by their fathers typically. So the logo needs to appeal to these men, but represent the young ladies who play it.

Like where we are going on #3, #2, and #7. How do we make the pitcher look more like it is in the foreground - not sure how to explain it. It would be like me saying could you reverse out the text if I was talking about text.

The lines in the lower part of the diamond distract and clutter. Can we clean that up.

Lastly, our pitcher looks very awkward and her style looks like she is inexperienced. We want to project a high level of play and ability. Love the idea - we need an image of a pitcher that inspires confidence and looks expert in the silhouette.

I think we would like to simplify a little. For example in #12, the athlete identifies the sport, so the ball is probably unnecessary and complicates matters.
# 10 is nice an simple, but the IFA/VTD are integral to the logo and we want the logo to be able to work with or without the letters. The player does a good job of looking female and athletic. Like that.
The Diamond is a critical piece of what we are trying to convey.
From a practical standpoint the gradations in #12 and #15 around the perimeter of the diamond will be tough to screen print and even tougher to embroider. Probably need a less detail here.
Like the simplicity of #16. the square feel of the logo isn't really what we are looking for.

Love the abstract/modern look and feel of #34 and #35. Both feel like they could be stand alone logos that could represent us.

Like the #34 player better - unique. prefer a layout with the picture above the words because we'll use the logo without the words some and I think we like it centered over the words when used together, like on letter head or on a website. Also like how the female in action and the area around her work together - neither is in the background. like that. How do we make the area look more like a diamond, which is important to us to communicate a diamond as well. like where this is going.

Like the color combos in #34 and #35

#56 Like this idea alot. A few comments though. Can we separate the words from the rest of the logo just a tiny bit. Also, Most importantly, we are not that excited about this particular depiction of athlete. A more stylized approach / more modern / generic look would be preferable. Can we make the background for the words "IFA/VTD" on solid color. A gradation there complicates sewing and screen printing for us.

#34 like this, but not with the words out to the side and could we see what the circle around the pitcher might look like as a diamond.

#63 - like it. How would it look incorporating a diamond without putting either the pitcher or diamond in the backgroun?

#68 - nice. like the dynamic nature of it. Though the color gradations are nice, i fear they will make screen printing and sewing tough. can we make them solid colors?

Hi Dear CH.
it would be better if you write the comment for each design or designer in "designs comment page".
because designers will receive a reminder in their email and respond to it immediately.
Thanks
