Here are some of my concepts. I've gone for something that's fairly clean and simple, yet striking. Creating an icon that works well within the logo or as a stand alone element, one that can be used for things like favicons or watermarks.
The logos are 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,
It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say. I look forward to your comments or thoughts.
I would like to see it with the text that is off to the right bigger. Can you submit a few variations on sizes off to the right with the text bigger. Keep the icon on the left. Thanks, Mark
Thanks again for the feedback ... Here are those variations. I've taken 3 of the designs, and worked up from small to larger, all with the icon to the left. For the moment they are all on white backgrounds, but of course if you'd like to see them on dark that's not a problem and I'll work them up.
Can I see the Id in identity not bolded on a few. So we can see. A couple people here think that the ID in the icon and then bolded on the first two letters looks redundant.
And here are those variations. With each one I've used a different sized icon, and slightly different text - so all light, all heavier, all grey, grey and orange, just the dot on the "i" orange.
Angus, I think you won! We like #37 and the unbolded #92. However would like to possibly use #40. You did a killer job on this! Would you be able to send us all three when we finish. We are working with a sign company for the side of our building and want to make sure that what we pick is readable from far away. If I close out the contest can you send me all three? We will only use one for our final logo. Just need to be sure one of the three will work? Thanks, Mark
Thanks for the message, and thanks for choosing my design! Yes of course would be a pleasure to supply you with those options, not a problem at all. Just one query ... #37 and #92 use the same icon, but #40 is a completely different icon / design. Is this what you meant or another design?
Also on the site I can only upload one image at the end. However, and for ease, I can email additional files directly via email. If you drop me your details, I can send the additional files straight through after the project is closed up here. My direct email is angus@ninet6.com
