Just curious. How will this be kept out of schools and off of planes? A bit concerned to work on this project without some clarity.

there was an incident can't recall if it was in the US or Canada but a smartphone case made to look like a handgun.

now a gun that looks like a smartphone.

it is every gun owners job to keep guns away from kids. The gun has metal parts, (the barrels etc) so it can't go through metal detection or escape xray's.
There are a lot of people that want to carry without the stigma of a gun in a holster. This is a safe way to carry without freaking out people around you.
As to the police etc. If you get stopped, ALWAYS LEAVE YOUR HANDS WHERE THE OFFICER CAN SEE THEM AT ALL TIMES. Also declare your permit and gun possestion right away and you won't have an issue.
