#1. Thanks for submitting. However, the design reminds us of a "Tulip Flower" and the overall color scheme and appearance seems much too "Feminine" and "Soft" for our clients. We are looking for something more masculine that portrays a strong and stable image. Thanks.

#5, Can you please show design with some additional font options?
#9, Like the design and cleanliness. Some people say the "star" emphasises and draws the eye to the "&" part of the name instead of "Icon". Also like your #13 entry but it is a little too big and "construction company" looking. Is there a way to somehow blend the two to make #9 Stand out a little more and make it "Pop"?
#7, Can you please try some different color options for the sails?

#4, Looks a little too much like a flag, a little dated looking.
#2, a little too "Tribal" looking
#3 & #6, Can't quite figure out what the "Icons" are, they are not clear
#11, Looks a little too much like the Pittsburgh Steelers Football team logo
#12, 14, 15, 16, & 17, These logos all look a little too much like "Construction Industry" logos and not for a company in the "Financial" world.

#22 & # 24-Like the cleanliness but still can't place what is exactly missing, do you have any other ideas for the "Icon" portion of it?

To all: I would also like some new, fresh ideas & suggestions. in looking at some of the other contests, below are some that are getting closer. Engage Media # 45, 28, 79, 57, 27, 47, 46, 64 &38, NorthCap Commercial # 19 & 29, VanEdge Capital #208, 406, 178, 390. The color combo in Vogey #57 & #58 also looks good.

#45-Looks too much like the Pepsi Logo

#26-People have said this looks too much like a "Gun Sight" and conveys image of "I got you".

All, please keep in mind that we raise money from wealthy private investors so we need to convey an image of security and trust and that they will know that there money is "safe" with us.

#41- I like the strong design but can you try making ICON CAPITAL a little larger or perhaps by using "bold" font as I would like the words to stand out a little more. Thanks.

#106- We like the logo and the silver/gray look but are wondering if you can also try adding some Blue in to see how that might look also? Thanks

#52- Can you please see what this logo would look like using a different Font? Also, we are liking the abstract logos a little more and were just wondering what the inspiration behind this deisgn is (in case we have to explain or come up with a story behind what the logo means?) Thanks

#76 & 78, Not quite masculine enough, very similar to the Sydney Opera House "Sails" which would be fantastic if we had a Nautical Theme or were based bear the Ocean and had that as a motif.

#91 & 105- Love the strength and look of the all Black but don't think the all black would turn out to good on Business Cards or Logoed Shirts so are going to have to not choose these.

#81- Is there a way to see what this logo theme would look like if the "I" in ICON had the emphasis instead of the "O". I like the boldness of this Logo but the emphasized "O" may seem to some too close to the Barack Obama Logo where the "O" is used as the symbol. Thanks.

p.s. Note to All- Thanks for new designs, they are all starting to look really good and can't wait until the contest is over on Wednesday night to select a winner. BTW- the reference to have a "vertical line separating the icon used and the name" was not necessarily meant for all of the designs, just a suggestions for one of the designs that we got from some feedback we received.

Regarding #71 #77 #107 #108 #111. The feedback we have received is that these designs are not "Clean" and "Precise" enough. They appear to be a bit bulky and awkward which is not good for a company in the "Financial Industry". Again, we are a Venture Capital/Private Equity type of company that is in the business of raising money and capital. Thanks.

i see that you have not ranked any of the new logo's posted...maybe if you ranked them or marked them as not interested it could help the designers get closer to what you are looking for....just a thought.....thanks for any feedback that was given to my logo's posted.

#129 & #130, Can you please make the word "ICON" Black on both Logos? Thanks

#127 & #128, the Icon used is a liitle too "busy".

#100 & 102- Although we are looking for a clean, conservative but strong look, the colors on these are a little too boring and the buildings used for the Icons now seem not quite right after looking at the new logos submitted that have a more "clean" yet abstract Icon. Thanks.

#117 & #118, Although we prefer to have the "ICON" portion of the name stand out, for some reason these did not look as good as the others you submitted. The one all black needed some color (most likely a shade of Blue which we seem to be leaning towards). Thanks

#58 Good design, clean and modern, I really like that.

#57, #58, #114, #143, #129 & #130- It is possible to incorporate a little black somewhere into the wording, maybe "ICON" or "ICON CAPITAL" using Black font?

#143- Need to add an "s" to the end of "Investments". Thanks.

#139- Is it possible to add some "Blue" instead of the "Orange and Red" to your designs somehow?

#146 & 147- Looks too much like 1C or 1 Penny. Not quite the image we are looking for, we need to be worth more than 1 Penny.

#153 & 154, Way to wild and "spacy" looking for a Financial Services firm.

#169- Can you please try using some darker, richer "Blues" rather than thr torquoise type of Blues and some Black in the lettering. Please also just put on Plain White background, we are not crazy about the shades of Gray for the background. Thanks
