Hi, thanks for your design. I like the style and the idea. I would like to see if it worked with the strings going the opposite direction, my surname straight and circled by a guitar silouette. Also, it would be interesting to see the word guitar somewhere in smaller font. Finally, can you please try a version in earthy colors? Hope this helps. IN.
Ciao Giorgia, thanks for your new entries, wow these are VERY interesting. I like best #20, #28 (a pari merito) & #27. #s 22, 23, 24, 25 & 26 are very cool, but too elaborate/ornate, I think the font is the problem. Having said that, I love the word "guitars" in that font, maybe you could try and use it on #20, #28 & #27. Also, on #28 & #27 the font for my name works fine but I would like to see how it works with the initials of my name in capital letters (or bigger than the rest), it's only a detail and I am curious to see the effect. Grazie. IN.
Hi, One last thing about your designs, the word "Guitars" has to be a bigger, not too big, but enough to be read from a distance. I just noticed that I cannot read it on my screen at the resolution used on the main page of my contest. Only the one in #25 is legible, and as I mentioned earlier, I LOVE that font for the word Guitars. IN.
Ciao, Sorry for not posting earlier, I have had a super busy day... Thanks for your new logos. I think you are right about #46, it's a bit heavy. On the other hand, both #45 and #43 work really well, I like them thanks for the changes. Now I would like to see how these designs work with different color schemes, say deep red words/drawings on a cream background, also the background can be textured with shading i.e. from light to dark. Non so perché continuo a scriverti in inglese, comunque meglio continuare a farlo per correttezza nei confronti degli altri designers. Grazie,
Ciao, once again thanks for your feedback! I'll be back with new designs asap. Penso che ci sia una regola interna, qui su Logo Tournament, che dice che bisogna parlare in inglese, quindi fai benissimo :)
Ciao again, I am very busy until the end of this week. I am finishing a guitar for a client from Milan who is coming to collect it saturday, so I am all day in the workshop and not checking LT until late. I like your new versions, though in these color schemes something doesn't quite work... I think that the type of font used in #59 stands out too much, but I like the effect of the strings ending in the "o" of my name. Could you please try the same effect with the other font, and also a deeper red like a maroon like Pantone 1810 or along that tone. Thank you. IN.
Hi Giorgia, Thanks for your new entries. As you have noticed I have taken a new direction, I apologize for not being more firm in my decisions. I have realized that the best way to identify my brand is through a standalone mark that I can use for different media, even for the headstock of my guitars. With this in mind, I still rank you high in the contest, but I feel that the logo and my name should be "separabili" and not the contrary, exactly like in #98. Even though #98 doesn't evoke guitar immediately he has captured the tone I like through the 2 elements I want for my logo: 1: My name and 2: An identifiable mark. I like your style and to be able to see more design with this new direction I have extended the contest 5 more days. I hope you will be still taking part. Grazie tante, IN.
Ciao Iacopo, no problems at all, I know choosing your own logo/image is the hardest part, I had to do it for me 3 times and it's been completely different from working for someone else, so I just hope (and wish) you'll find exactly what you're looking for. I have no time today but yes, since you extended your contest I'll be happy to come up with something new (and different).
Hi Giorgia, thanks for your renewed efforts. I think with the change of direction we have lost some of the interesting attributes and characteristics of your earlier designs. I am afraid I cannot help you with indications this time because you have all the elements and there are good examples on the higher ranks. If you feel that you have more to give, then I would be delighted to see more. If not, I understand and I thank you for all your precious time and effort you have devoted to my brief. Grazie, IN.
Ciao non ti preoccupare, è colpa mia: ho avuto un imprevisto di lavoro e sono fuori città, non ho potuto continuare. Ti ringrazio comunque moltissimo per la cordialità, l'interesse e il rispetto. Grazie! Giorgia.
