Our Ideas & Additional Information
Logo should be a characterization/illustration of a rugby player playing poker and pushing his big stacks of poker chips "all in". The rugby player is wearing a rugby jersey, electrical tape is wrapped around his ears and left wrist. The left wrist tape should include a loop around his thumb. He's also wearing sunglasses.

Discussion

We're off to a great start!

Design #1: I like the type treatment of the I'Maul but need the word "In" added to it. I also think the No Limit Texas Hold'em type gets too hard to read.

Design #2: I like the size of the rugby character image and the words Poker Tournament, however the main words "I'Maul In" are lost in the circle to type.

A few additional revisions, first off rugby players do not wear helmets. If you need further reference do a Google image search for rugby players - they most often wrap white athletic tape around their heads to tape down their ears protecting them from injury. Character in this logo will need to have his head/ears taped in this manner.

Secondly, his jersey should be horizontally striped in contrasting colors such as red and blue or green and yellow - some combination like that.

Next, the wording in the logo should read as three elements. First, "I'Maul In", which is a play on words referring to a rugby technique, a maul. Second, "No Limit Texas Hold 'em". And third, "Poker Tournament".

As for the poker chips, I'd like to see a variety of stack colors like white, blue, black and red.

I like the revisions to the rugby player and poker chips. I prefer the words "Poker Tournament" in version #1 and #2. I'd like to see the words "I'Maul In" to all be in the same type style at the top. I also like the circle of type behind the player that says "No Limit Texas Hold'em" can you reincorporate that into #3 design. Thanks for all your efforts!!!

To ysonmez, in the project description for this logo there were specific instructions for what had to be shown for the rugby player - he needed to be pushing poker chips "all in" with his hands. Perhaps you didn't see that part of the instructions. Anyway, I like the border treatment that looks like a poker chip but maybe you can go back in and see what can be done about the rugby player.

To Changcute, I'm really liking your #7 entry and wonder if you can do something different with the words "No Limit Texas Hold 'em". I like they way they looked in your #2 version where they were set in a semi circle. Can something like that be incorporated into design #7? Also can you please remove the tape across the guys nose and make his arms more muscular like you showed in design #1 & #2?

To Changcute, we're getting close! I like your entry #8 at this point and would like to see the semi circle with the words " No Limit Texas Hold'em" look like a poker chip. I'd also like to see a couple different type styles for the "I'Maul In" text - I think it is not tying is as well with the rest of the logo.
