Comment Activity wendygurl commented on #65 Withdrawn Hi again, Sure, please review #67 (spaced handle) and #68 (more spaced handle). Thank you! 4 years ago earlturns commented on #65 Withdrawn Getting very close! Can you please move the tool down a bit for some white space between it and the word "Wood." Please make the wooden handle brown. You can leave the metal part of the tool black. Please insert a brown line under the motto. 4 years ago wendygurl commented on #59 Withdrawn Hi again, Sure, please review #64 and on for new options. Thank you! 4 years ago earlturns commented on #59 Withdrawn Love this one best out of all the new ones! Can we have two versions of this with a few modifications. Please make the "with WOOD" the same font as "I Dance" as well as the same size so that visually it looks like one integrated phrase. For the motto we would like to see two versions, both with dark brown (the darkest shade of your woodshaving gradients); one version should be all caps the way you have it now. The other version should be initial caps. 4 years ago wendygurl commented on #46 Withdrawn Hi again, Sure, please review #56 and #57 as well as #58 and #59. Hope I got the suggestions correctly. Thank you! 4 years ago earlturns commented on #46 Withdrawn We would like to try one more thing with the elements you already have. Can you put "I Dance with Wood" on one line above the tool (all black) and the motto right below the tool. Please make two versions: one with the lines above and below the motto and one without the lines. Make the motto start after the downward woodshaving curl and make it so that the motto's bottom is flush with the bottom of the woodshaving. Thank you! 4 years ago wendygurl commented on #25 Withdrawn Hi again, Sure, please review #46 (and also #45 for a smaller curl under the tool). Hope I got what you meant. Thank you! 4 years ago earlturns commented on #25 Withdrawn So we decided we want to have that under curl back and that is our number one choice now. However, the one in the #1 position needs to have the “With” in all lowercase letters please 4 years ago wendygurl commented on #25 Withdrawn Hi again, Sure, please review #34. Thank you! 4 years ago earlturns commented on #25 Withdrawn Hi there, please remove the wood shaving curl under the chisel tool (but keep the one that curls up toward the "I.". Also, put a tiny bit more white space above and below "Fine Woordturned Creations" so that there is just a smidge more space between the text and the brown lines. Make the "with" all lowercase. Sorry for all the changes, but we want to explore lots of options. Looking great! 4 years ago wendygurl commented on #17 Withdrawn Hi again, Please review #20 and on for new font options with the slogan and still feel free to suggest. Thank you! 4 years ago earlturns commented on #17 Withdrawn Sorry. I didn’t proofread the previous post. What I meant to say is: please make another version where the motto has initial caps for each word and lowercase letters for the rest of each word. We would like you to make two versions so we can make a side-by-side comparison of a version with the motto in all caps and a version where the motto has only initial caps. 4 years ago earlturns commented on #17 Withdrawn Would also like to see the motto not in BUT with just initial caps to see what it looks like make a separate version for that so we can compare the one with all caps and the one with just initial caps 4 years ago earlturns commented on #17 Withdrawn Looking great! Please make the type for the motto in San serif type rather than serif type. Also please move the motto just a little bit further down to leave a little bit of white space between the logo and the motto. 4 years ago wendygurl commented on #15 Withdrawn Hi again, Sure please review #16 and #17. Hoping they're moving toward the right direction. Thank you! 4 years ago earlturns commented on #15 Withdrawn The log detail is too busy. Please get rid of the log entirely. The chisel and the piece of curled shaving coming off it is GREAT! Please angle the curled shaving at the end of the tool slightly upward and move the "I Dance" to the left so that the curled "I" and the curled shaving at the end of the tool are closer together (as if they were dancing together). The "I Dance" text should run the entire length of the tool. Add a little more white space between the top of the tool and the bottom of the "I Dance" text. We think the motto "Fine Woodturned Creations" would look best right under the word "Wood" but are open to other ideas you may have. 4 years ago wendygurl commented on #2 Withdrawn Hi there, Please review #13 and on for new options based from these suggestions. Thank you! 4 years ago earlturns commented on #2 Withdrawn I like the wood pattern detail but I’m concerned that when it’s scaled down for a business card, the detail will get lost. Also, the motto inside the log is obscured by all the details around it. Could you try one version with less detail inside the log and perhaps another version with the curved motto outside the log. Also please make the letters in the company name solid rather than speckled. Also please make the turning tools larger. 4 years ago
