Hi, this is my proposal/design for you. It is my original drawing and I hope you'll like it. I would appreciate a feedback. Thank you. Regards, Madeleine
Hi, as you can see, I made few versions with brighter colors. #29 - I change the hair to be curly and to convey the afro woman segment, BUT the reflection in the mirror has long hair. #30 - I kept the same hair and the reflection is a silhouette with curly hair for the same woman segment. # 31 - I changed the hair, but kept the caucasian face features to make the design leaning towards the afro woman segment. Of course, the asian womans could identify as well because of delicate features. # 32 - is the same character as in # 31 but having a full body. # 33 - is the same # 32 on black background.
I hope some of these will fits with your vision. Waiting your thoughts. Regards, Madeleine
#33 & #32, is there anyway to put 2 ladies looking in the mirror on opposite sides of each other and the wording in the middle. Also perhaps brown hair on the black woman with a darker shade of skin tone, put her on the left and place the caucasian face on the right with not white skin tone, but the skin tone as in #30.
Feel free to play with the hair colors.
in both of their mirrors, perhaps placing the words "We are one" or " We are 1" or "We R 1" I like to see if the tagline can fit inside the mirror.
Hi, thank you for your detailed feedback. As you can see, I made the changes required. I played with colors and even I made different outfit for every character :) I made also a red head caucasian girl. I hope you'll like the new entries. Regards, Madeleine
Oh, I incorporated the tagline into the mirrors - it fits perfectly, but at this size of the layout you cannot visualize very well. The logotournament website allows just 350x280 size for every layout. But on a regular header for website or on facebook cover or other marketing material would be perfect visible.
We are very excited to see we are making Huge Progress.
1. First what does gradient mean?
2. The color of the writing in the YOU in #47 is great with that darker turquoise.
3. Mix the star colors in purple, fuchsia and dark turquoise
4. Can you make the dot in the "i" in beautiful with a turquoise heart.
5. I would like to see it two (2) different ways regarding the mirrors, 6. Is it possible: (a) to put their reflection in the mirrors (b) to keep the tag line in the mirror.
Now let's get down to the girls HEAD to TOE:
Black Girl 1. #31 hair, put on black girl and give us 2 options of hair color: black and brown
2. We like the skin tone of the black girl in #47.
3. Can you put the white girl’s exact outfit in #43 on the black girl?
White Girl 1. Can you make the white girl’s hair blonde?
2. We like the skin tone of the white girl in #44.
3. Put the polk a dot dress on her instead.
4. Polk a dot dress color is going to be the dark turquoise of #47.
Hi, first of all, I want to tell you that the black girl hair is #31 for all versions from #42 to #47 except is not pink. Therefore I don't understand your request regarding her hair because is the same :) I will provide you also a black hair for the black girl. The white girl skin from #47 is the same as in #44 except the fact is gradient (I'll explain what gradiend color means). I'll revise the design according to your guidelines. Now, gradient color: if you look on the black girl skin, you'll see is made from 2 colse shades of brown not just from one color. When 2 close colors are use in the same shade is called gradient color. I hope you'll understand my explanation because english is not my first language and unfortunately is quite bad :( If you'll look on #47 you'll notice all the colors (even on the text) are made from close shades/nuances. Regards, Madeleine
ok, I understand regarding the black girl's hair. And you doing very well with your english. ;-)
I am thinking that when printed the gradient color will look faded. Therefore, although I like gradient on the computer, on print it won't look as nice. So I think I prefer to avoid gradient.
No way to look faded grAdient colors in print! I made a lot of print designs with gradient colors and no way to look faded :) If you'll look on my face book page, you'll see I made posters, a book, printed banners with gradient colors and they look great!
yes... please wait few minutes! It seems we have different time zone! 5 minutes, please and you'll have the new entries :) Thank you for your pacience.
Hi again... first of all, thank you for appreciating my work (I think you are Mary Ann Seymour, right?) As you can see, I made the revisions and submitted 6 new drafts according to your feedback. I have an observation to make - on the turqoise dress, the fuchsia necklace doesn't work. Waiting your thoughts. Regards, Madeleine
the 4 changes there are: 1. Change black girl necklace to purple 2. Change white girl necklace to yellow 3. Make everything ungradient including words, dresses etc. 4. Add an tourquoise heart on to the "i" in the word Beautiful
Just to see all of those changes.
Then see another one withOUT the heart on the capital I in the beginning of I Am Beautiful but a TOURQUOISE heart on JUST the I Am Beaut "i" ful & So Are You
Hi, your wish is my command :) Here you are the revisions on #50 Let's take them one by one: #54 is actually #50 but with flat colors (ungradient colors) and the revisions made on necklaces. #55 has a turqoise heart on "i" from "beautiful". #56 has no pink heart on capital "I" and just the turqoise heart on "i" from "beautiful". Regards, Madeleine
So Mary Ann is just getting back in town and she LOVES them.
She said we are finalizing today hopefully.
She said can she see 3 minor changes #50
1.With the black girl in fushia shoes so the girls can have something in common. 2. With the "WE ARE ONE" under the black girls heel thats crossed 3. Take the we are one completely off.
Hi, I'm puzzled... First of all, #50 has gradient colors on it and you told me you want to take off gradient colors. Are you sure Mary Ann mentioned #50 for the new revisions?
Good morning, here you are the revised versions: #57 is #55 with fushia shoes and no WE ARE ONE tagline #58 is #55 with fushia shoes and the tagline under the main text. #59 has the tagline under black girl shoe.

Hi, once again, congratulations for your new logo design! I just upload the final files for you. Please check them and after that, please don't forget to approve the files. Thank you. Regards, Madeleine
Hi, look to create a defference between 2 legs that are one over the other, I need to use 2 nuances of the same colors. I used this method for both girls legs -the white girl and the black girl as well. It is the best way not to have 2 boring legs. Trust me with this. Regards, Madeleine
Hi, I noticed you forgot to approve the files. If you checked the files, I would appreciate if you will not forget to aprove the files. Thank you. Regards, Madeleine
