Hydra StrategyLogo Design Contest

We are a startup financial data company that aims to collect, unify, and produce unique individual and aggregate data for the use of finance professionals

Predominately Grey, Blue, and Black. Would like to see similar designs with grey/black/blue backgrounds with text in white, grey, blue, black.

If any color other than this set is to be used, green, for differentiation with our competitors. (bloomberg.com, capitaliq.com, factset.com, reuters.com)

ALTHOUGH WE RANKED A FEW OF THE SUBMISSIONS, IT WAS BASED ON COLOR AND FONT/LOOK, WE DO NOT LIKE ANY SQUIGLEY LINE. A reference to stars or even something abstract would be much better. I have submitted a .gif of the hydra constellation, which is the largest constellation in the sky. This is only for you to toy around with; we are open to viewing submissions with or without the constellation. Above all we are looking for something that is clean, professional, and conveys reliability.

We would like "Hydra" to be in larger font, and "Strategies" to be much smaller or not in the logo at all.

We would also like entries to stay away from fonts that are too "classical" like new times or too edgy or futuristic. We produce almost all our models in Arial font...clean, serious, and modern looking.

Solid, darker colors, no fading colors on logo. Use of a light dark green OK for a tiny bit of color and flair, and differentiation from our competitors.
