the circle with the beans come close to my thoughts.

Put a funnel on top where greens beans will fall in.

erase the name bar and let the company name be seperate of the logo itself. Use modern letter type.

Maybe put a flame under/around the circle to make it look like a roasting drum.

You're on the right track.

Maybe you also can use the circle as the letter O in the logo.

#94 is much better and comes close to what I had in mind. But .....

The tube on the lower end of the funnel is too long. It needs to stop at the top of the circle. Not slide the funnel up, but make it shorter or let the arrow go over the funnel and leave it that way. Try to do both.

I now I see it my doubt about the used type of letter. Make the letters shine like the beans in logo #80 by mare.

Here's a couple different funnel versions and also a new font.
