Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

Note to designers: We have tried to clarity our creative brief, so please review it prior to submitting or re-submitting entries. We will not consider copy-cap entries, so please be original. The link to our current website is listed on our creative brief. We are designing a new site that will be cleaner, more interactive, more Web 2.0 in style and look. We want our new logo to be different from our current design.

Note to designers: After seeing some of your entries, we made a few additional changes to our creative brief. Many of our software company clients are working on the advanced cutting edge of emerging technologies that help businesses work smarter and more efficiently. We'd like the design and color of our logo to indicate some of the creativity, energy, and dynamic nature of the technology that we evaluate. We like designs #11 and #12 because the letters "H" and "A" are combined in a somewhat playful way that indicates creativity. We like the use of "insight to action" in the logo because "insight" represents the analytical and research work that we do and "action" represents the benefit to our customers. However, we'd like to consider different options.

Thanks for all the new and exciting entries. I would like to see the name of the company in more of a Web 2.0 look. Most of the designs use a traditional font for the company name. I'm not sure how this will work, but i would like to see some possibilities. I like design #21, but think the image of a globe may be over used. Many of the design entries use red and gray, which I do like, however I would like to consider other color palettes as well.

Thanks for all these great designs. I'd like to see if we can add something totally different (not using the letters "H" and "A" to create a logo) into the mix of choices. Entry #53 has a clean and classic look, but might be too safe or traditional. We write a lot about innovation in technology and how emerging technologies impact business and would like our logo to reflect the dynamic nature of our industry. Can we use techniques likeI the "shine" on the letters in entry #45 along with other design techniques to create more web 2.0 type images? We do not want too much color in our logo, but I included #40 and #38 in the rankings because they do add in some new colors beyond red and gray or black.

Designers, we have just about 1 day left in our contest. We want to use our new logo as inspiration for our website redesign. We want to make sure we can use a modern and fresh color palette in our web design and would like to see some newly inspired designs with movement, a little bit of an edge, and some color. The logo still needs to convey innovation, technology, and knowledge, but with a fresh look.

Like seeing some of these new concepts. Can we possibly see some iterations with 92C626 and 0090BD, or a similar palette?

Another thought on color... What about some use of sunflower gold? I'm still hoping to see a graphical image that reflects our image without using letters.

Designers: With only a few short hours to go, we have many new entries to consider. Even if we have temporarily posted your entry in "not interested", or have you at a ranking that doesn't appear to be favorable, know that we are receiving input on the decision from several people within our organization, so please do not pull any of your entries.

Once the contest has closed, we will reposition the number one spot if there are final tweaks we would like to see.

We appreciate everyone's hard work on this contest and the beautiful submissions we have received!
