Very strong entries. You've got the best sense of what a consumer logo should look like and how it differs from a business-to-business product logo.

I think the orange color scheme is better, it really pops. I like the simple lines in version #49 rather than the document with the folded corner, so I'd rather see the lines version incorporated into #51.

I wonder if we can simplify these graphics a bit. The graphic in #49-#51 has a lot going on: a necktie, a stethoscope, a human figure, a document. Can that become simpler? Also, you have a talent for making these graphics, I love seeing the two variations, do you have some other ideas?

Thank you for the submissions, these were very strong.

P.S. We just reviewed your portfolio. We really liked funvit.de -- was recognizable and simple. We also really liked the Snap logo you did. And novogeek was also really fun!

Hi!

Because this is intended to appeal to nurses (mostly middle-aged women), I polled about 10 of them. The logo I ahd ranked #1 actually ranked second for them. They thought the now #1-ranked logo was softer, more personal, more feminine.

But I still really like your logo and think it communicates the brand idea, maybe we can soften it a bit. I hope you don't mind if I get specific with my thoughts at this late stage in the contest.

1) Eliminate the little ball in the mark, but keep the boxes and the circle surrounding them. I did a Snag-It and tried it on my end, I think it simplifies the whole thing.

2) Second, maybe we can soften the overall look a bit by bringing a little additional color into the overall logo. Could the boxes within the circle be more than just orange and grey? Maybe reference the dark blue from the "Find Jobs" button at jobs.healthcaresource.com? And maybe one additional, complementary color, like an aqua green or something? I think the ring should stay in the orange from the site so your concept of the site binding all the hospitals together comes through, but you could try using the dark blue on the "H" and see how that looks.

3) Personally, I really like your type treatment, even though I understand it's a somewhat masculine treatment (kind of square and blocky). But I think it really works to have all the type the same size and capitalization but with the "H" in a different color so that it pops. I wonder if we just keep it the same and see if adding some color and simplifying things from the previous two steps softens the look enough. The font itself is relatively soft, with the only sharp angle and hard corner being on the "R".

Really appreciate all your work on this. This is my first time through the process, I didn't really know what to expect, so I was pleasantly surprised to see so much great, professional work.
