Blacks/Greys will be the dominate color, but with some sort of accent color/design element mixed in.
The accent color used in the design element can be shades of green, red or blue.

We really just want a modern, simple logo focused on the letters of House Digest and making it look nice. We are open to either House Digest or HOUSE DIGEST in all caps.
The focus of the logo will be the actual letters, we want them to look nice as the #1 priority. After that, we would like to add some sort of minor design element with some color. The final logo should still have text that is extremely easy to read, we don't want to alter the letters of the logo so much that is hard to read any of the letters in House Digest. Please don't hyper focus on the House concept, we imagine most designers will try to add a Roof to the H in House Digest. It is an okay idea but we are looking for something more creative and it may not have anything to do with an image of a house at all. We encourage people to spend more time crafting the individual letters of House Digest to make it look really nice, the winner may not even have a good symbol or design element added on top if we like the lettering work. Maybe some very minor addition can happen in or around the letters of House Digest with a bit of color, but doesn't have to be a full house or something too big.
