Hi there, please find my first design attached. What I've gone for is a sports related design for the logo. I've used a college sports style font to get the link that it's sports related. I've used a Basketball with sun rays emanating from it to represent gods love, enlightenment, bright sparks, inspiration, all things that are found from your group - it's all related to basketball and god. I've also put a slogan in the logo in a street style font to emphasize the basketball theme. Also I've used a halo over Christ's name which doubles as a basketball hoop. The colors are warm and bright to show care and the push to be all that you can be. Please let me know if you'd like to see any changes. Thanks. BMF
Great ideas behind your logo! I like it...simple yet shows excitement. Thanks for your explanation. I like the fonts you've used, especially the street style font...fitting for the youth! Not quite sure about the slogan, though.
How about a Bible verse in place of the slogan using the same street style font? A suggestion...Philippians 4:13 "I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength." I will look for others as well. Or if you could find some on the topic faith that would be good.

Thanks for the variations. Could you try keeping the "HOOPS" in Entry #41 the same as the graffiti style text in Entry #s 40, 42, and 44? Maybe one version with white as in Entry #s 40, 42, 44 and one version the same color or close to the color of the "CHRIST" in Entry #41. Thanks!
Hi. Alternative designs attached as requested. Also created a new design based on a similar concept only this time I've removed the halo and used a Jesus fish symbol as the markings on the ball. This design get a subtle religious visual into the logo. Please let me know if you'd like to see any changes. Thanks. BMF
Thank you! The fish symbol on the ball is really creative...like that! That entry though, Entry #59, looks a little unbalanced without the halo. Adding the halo back would probably disrupt the fish...any other ideas to make it more balanced?
We like the "Hoops" and the "Christ" in the same color...the shades of orange and a little yellow are cool.
Still thinking about the black behind the ball or the white.

Kids said they're not sure if they like the fish on the basketball. Another suggestion...would it be possible to make the halo into some form of the fish on Entry #s 58 and 55? Just a thought...
Hi, noticed you extended the tournament so I'll look at some alternatives and upload over the weekend. The only difference between 69 & 70 was the bottom of the ball showing or being blacked out - was just a subtle difference to see what balanced better for you. Will have a go at some variations. Hi there, sorry this took a bit longer than expected - I had computer problems at the weekend and then it took me a while to get the symbol to work with the logo. I think these work really well now and you can see that they still have all the energy and youthfulness of the original designs. The fish works really well as a hoop/halo/Jesus fish. The versions uploaded only have a very slight difference with the scale of the fish and the text - just to see which you prefer. Let me know if you'd like to see any variations of it. I like ur design on a jersey, however, if I were to print it on shirts and cups, I'm not sure it would look as good. Its coming down to the top two. It will be tough to pick....
Good luck with the final judging, you've got some good entries to look over. As far as how it'll look on promotional materials I've created and emblem badge style design specifically to work well with putting it onto various items so I think it'll work pretty well on items including baseball caps, shirts, mugs, buttons, gym bags etc.
We can't upload the logo placed onto items on this site, but if you want to see how it would look on things, send me a private message with your email address on it and I can mock it up for you. Would be worth asking the other guy in the running to do the same - that way it's fair and you can make an informed decision about the design you choose. Want to ensure that it's all fair and above board, so if it's something you're interested in, can you ask Struve and whoever else in the running to also do this.
