Thanks! Could you also produce one with the highlights on just 3–5 of the hexagons in the background, leaving the rest as in 341? So that just a few of them look different from the rest. Thanks.
Also, could you put a thin, light (but not white) border around three to five hexagons in the background shield, just to give a subtle bump to the hexagons? Many thanks.
This is the winning design. The team thinks the size of the type in 345 is bigger. They look the same to me. Can you check? If it is bigger, could you make the type in 341 identical to 345. There is an obsession with bigger type.
Thanks. I have sent this off to the team for a final vote between the latest version and version 341. Should hear something soon.
While we are waiting, can we talk a bit about the file deliverables? We will need files for (in all file formats):
The winning logo
Logos with solid hexagonal background (yellow, orange, brown)
Reverse (white) version to use on darker backgrounds
Black, yellow, orange and brown version of the mark and type without the hexagonal background
Color palettes
Color profiles:
PMS
Hex
RGB
CMYK
Font specs, to match print and other materials.
Can these be prepared and sent after the conclusion of the contest?
Also, are you available for additional marketing development following the contest or do you pretty much stick with logos?
We have some deadlines coming up early next week for which we will need materials. What is your timeline for getting these logo materials ready?
We are excited to get this product to market. The team is ecstatic about the logo. Thanks again!
We would like to see the "opening" on the hive as an outline, rather than a solid element. I am having a hard time explaining that, but, basically, we would like to see the background color/pattern in the middle of the "opening." Does that help? Let me know.
This is the preferred logo for the contest! Now, just a few more tweaks:
1. Can we increase the point size of the font by 10% or so. We like the proportion between Honey and 20, just would like it all a little larger.
2. We would like to see a version with some gradation in the honeycomb pattern on the badge. The honeycomb hexagons could get a little darker as they move toward the middle of the badge.
3. We would like to see the opening to the hive as an outline, rather than a solid color.
I'll have some additional questions about deliverables in a later post. We're really excited about this logo. Hope to make a final selection tomorrow!
We are getting close to selecting a winner and I wanted to make sure you received this message I sent an hour ago. I attached it to the wrong entry number.
We really like your last design. I think we are getting close. However, one member of the team is hung up on the hive having a fuller bottom and less of an upward angle perspective. He prepared this sketch by adapting your on SketchPad.
It's really a bad attempt at art, but am wondering if you could take one more shot at this before we make the decision tomorrow.
I personally think the base is too wide and that the whole thing seems too bulky, but perhaps there is a fix for that.
We like the cream color on an orange background, but would also like to see some dark badges on light backgrounds and how they might look in various colors in our palette (mustard yellow, burnt orange, etc.). The mark does not need to be on any sort of colored background, but could be for demonstrative purposes.
If this violates the terms of the contest or you do not want to work on this for professional reasons, please let me know. I more than understand

Can you remove the "dot" above the "Y," change the three hexagons to dots (to represent bees) and resize the hive so that the dot resting on the bottom rib appears to be the hole in the hive? Many thanks.
first of all w can't see your file names. all attachments you uploaded are coming with a new automatic names like ( https://logotournament.com/attachment/47801.jpg ) that's why i don't know wich one is "k.jpg". meanwhile, i've some new designs, i would be happy if you give the chance
In our contest brief, I uploaded a file named k.jpg. It's a sketch of what I was trying to explain in my post from a few days ago. If you think there's any merit in modifying your design, that would be much appreciated.
The team looked at this design and are interested in seeing some some refinements. Could we place the beehive within a hexagon in more of a head–on direction, rather than the looking up form underneath angle? We would like to see the Honey20 type incorporated into the mark, at the bottom of the side walls of the hexagon, in a single line. Underneath the type, maybe some honey drips underneath or something. Too much? Feel free to use your creativity. Let me know if you are interested in continuing. Many thanks.
