Thank you for your submission. I like your style but do not care for this design as much as some of the other designs I have seen in your portfolio. You are an excellent designer. I would like to see you come up with something new. Based on some of the wonderful designs you have done before, I know you have some great ideas. I would be honored if you would continue thinking about the logo and come up with something new. I like that you used multiple colors. Everyone else has stayed with 2 colors. I want something that describes searching for a home on a map or something similar. Thank you again!
I understand if you don't care for my design entries in your contest. To be honest, I'm not come up with a visual art method in developing logos. I prefer to visualize the communication first than exploring the aesthetic part. That's why I always willing to choose the different perspective from commonly exposed by any other designers. And simplify things is a must in my design process.
Thank you for your kind of feedback, anyway. I'll give it another try with my newest brainstorming base on your description. (entry #99)
Well Sunardipw, I think you did wonderfully coming up with something new. It's interesting, you are the ONLY person that thought of the twist from this angle. That's actually what I first came up with before I started this contest. I had merged an orange and a lime together. I like your new design and ranked it 2nd. Please don't stop. I would get rid of the checkmark from inside the house. If something needs to be there, then I would try for a window or door shape. I like that it is colorful when most people simply went with 2 colors. Maybe the orange dot at the top can have a silver needle coming from it making it look like a pin. I'm not sure that the pin idea would look great in its current position but something like that would be cool. Don't be hard on yourself, you are very good or you wouldn't have 16 designs in the top 3 positions of other contests. :)
Wow, either that was REALLY fast or you were were already working on it :). Thank you, I like it and will share it with my team as soon as possible. Can you put a white horizontal and vertical line through the window to make it look more like a window? So it would look like 4 small squares close together instead of one big square. Thank you!
Actually, I'm not quite sure about the pin, but I'll try to evaluate this idea with a little drag and drop try out. I've submit my newest entries #100 #101 for your consideration.
Sure, I'll revise the line to a little bit thinner. The reason I pick that size is just because the thumbnail of this entry is too small, so I emphasize that line for a preview only.
Of course in a final art, I would fix it to a normal line. :)
I like some of the changes you made for #114 but still like #102 better. I think I would like a combination of the two even more though. Can I see #102 but with the dots between the green letters in the blue color and use the map pin as the letter "i" in an orange color like you used for #114. So basically, the top half of #102 and the bottom half of #114 but keeping the letters green. Thank you!
Hi, my team is leaning pretty heavily towards your design, probably #122 but possibly #116. We may use the name NewHomeTwist.com instead since it is specializing in new homes. Can we see a version of #122 with the word "New" added to it somehow? Maybe a few different variations. I think we are ready to make a decision and you are the only one we are asking to do this. Once we see this addition, then we will make our decision. Thank you!
We like #181 but would like to see you improve the word NEW. Something about how the line above the word and how it attaches to the roof. It doesn't attach very cleanly. I just think it can be improved a lot more. Thank you.
We actually have decided on #181 but just want you to fix the line above the word new. It doesn't look like it belongs based on how it connects to the roof. If you could improve how they connect that would be perfect. Also, we like the gradient you used on the "i" in twist on #182 more than the styling you used for the "i" in twist on #181. Can you replace the i in #181 with the i you used in #182? Thank you
That's exactly what I was envisioning though I think I prefer the word "NEW" to be orange like you originally had it. Can you make that orange again? Thank you.
Thank you. One last change. Can you make the color of the word "NEW" be a gradient? From #e7772b at the bottom of the word to #f4a41b at the top of the word? Also, can you make the letter "i" design in the word twist a bit more more orange? Not much! Just a little. We like it a lot the way it is but just want it a shade more orange. Thank you. With that we should be ready to end it. Will you be able to provide this design as an EPS as well as an Adobe Illustrator file so we can edit it in the future if needed?
You used the wrong gradient color combination. Both e7772b and f4a41b are shades of orange. In fact they are shade of orange that already exist in your orange peel design that is wrapping around the letter "O" in home. Can you make that change with the correct orange gradient for the word NEW? The change to the "i" shape was perfect, thanks!!! I will send you a private message requesting the AI and EPS file, thank you.
