We really appreciated your work on this contest and wanted to let you know that we have another contest going with a different group from the same town. Harvard’s Climate Initiative: Commit. Act. Thrive- would love to see some entries there, if you are interested. Thanks! 4 years ago envision commented on #118 Withdrawn I submitted an illustration, too, in my entry #73 .But I think an illustration will be too expensive for your client to reproduce because all the colors involved. Also, an illustration is outdated and I wanted to propose a more versatile/rofessional approach. Just my 2 cents. 4 years ago KimL commented on #118 Withdrawn This is cool. The client is looking for more imagery though and not solely text treatment. Thanks! 4 years ago envision commented on #118 Withdrawn I made an icon from an "H" and a "G". In order to keep the icon simple, I chose not to represent all the farm goodies (fruits, veggies, animal products) but rather represent them by a symbol to encompass them all, an abstract fruit which is the "G" In order to keep the icon print cost effective, I chose to use three colors (but it can be easily reduced to two or even one color). I also chose not to use any landmark because the town logo already uses one and I didn`t want to create any confusion. As you can see, the logo is very versatile in terms of colors and layout and it can be easily reproduced on any surfaces. It can even be used as a watermark on any boxes/recipients used to transport/collect/store farm products. I think the outcome is a modern yet timeless logo. Thank you. 4 years ago envision commented on #73 Withdrawn I added a honeycomb in the lower part of the circle. 4 years ago KimL commented on #33 Withdrawn Could we see a barn with an apple tree instead of the silo? 4 years ago KimL commented on #35 Withdrawn No mountains in Harvard - perhaps rolling green hills with orchards.... 4 years ago envision commented on #49 Withdrawn Thank you for the feedback and appreciation.
