I like the creativity you were able to bring into this design. I would like to see what other variations you may have in mind. Not sure about the green, not that I don't like it, just would like to see how some other colors would look as well (red? or other neutrals?)
And would you possibly be able to tie that into the lettering?
Just trying to see what else you might have in mind; I love the start, I'm excited to see what else you are able to come up with!
I really like you're revisions, they look great. The only critique on the ones with the houses is that I feel like they look like realty in a way. #4 I really like, but I also like #3 because it separates the logo from the name to have sort of a trademark for recognition.
I still like the house idea and would like to see if you have any other ideas. And same with other dog related items (bone, etc)
I'd think those two color combination's are the best #13 and #18 , more like dunkin donuts / baskin robins
The good thing about the icon, is that it has a positive / friendly / welcoming feel that would appeal to wide audience / ages. Also it can be branded in different ways, alone or inside the brand name itself as suggested as well, and that would help sticking its branding if people see it on the side of a van for example and other advertising mediums.
A couple ideas with #9 & #7 : - a simple dog house in place of the o in home - a bone for the i in doggiez (separately or together)
Any similar variations that will be side-by-side like #4
A solid outline around lettering
and any ideas that you may get from any of the above suggestions, please feel free
for colors: -variations of blue no darker than what you've already submitted, but maybe some aqua-like colors, similar to ones submitted by other artists -with blues, maybe greys/charcoal-ish, black, white. -blue with yellow - blue with a lighter red, but not pink
I'm liking the lighter blue, but not the paw as the o, at least that big. I feel it spaces the word out too much. So similar to that with the paw off to the side and the bone smaller.
Okay I'll admit, I'm eating my words on the bone... it just doesn't fit very well, I don't think, but thank you very much for all your effort to include it
A few new ideas to try out: - one like #43, but without the bone and the box around it, and any variations like that - one like #8, but with the paw image as the "o" in doggiez instead of home (to try to put more emphasis on doggiez rather than home... just to see)
it's ok, we have to try it first to know if it works or not right ? ask me all you want and do not worry about it, that is my work, to make sure i fine tune the concept till it reaches the best it could and you are satisfied with 100% .
will do the changes you asked above now and submit gladly.
I REALLY like the new adjustments. Notice the new comment I posted on the general page about the American slang terms "homie," "homies," "home dogs"
But some things to consider about #50 and others: -I still like the blue and red, the combo we've been working with just seems very "political-looking." Those appear to be very much like what is used on political campaign signs here. - Maybe just try a softer red - And the blue with some more neutral colors ( grey/charcoal, possibly white or black as well)
In reference to the grey/charcoal, you've got it exactly right. Try a few different variations of grey/charcoal, white, and black if you can. Try on #8, #50, and possibly #51
-I'd like to see #52 with doggiez being one color, the two-tone throws me off
-And I like Home being small in #54 and #55, but not that small. Maybe like half the size of Doggiez at the smallest
#64 was my take on and play on the " Homies " slag for you and tieing it with your brand name, so i placed it under it as a slogan and creating the whole balance to the identity.
As you see, this all would fall under natural variations of the main icon / branding i created here for you and how it can fit in different positions as suggested, this would be one of them.
I like what you did with #72, even though I feel like the heart is more fitting.
I love the paw design you have developed. Pending the end of the tournament, how much flexibility will I have with using that design by itself at times, along with a logo where it is tied into the name?
And an idea to try with the blue and red: - #50, what if all the name were blue, and the logo stayed the same to keep both colors, but look less "political" - #8, similar idea as with #50
As to answer your question, i can supply you with different variations of it, so you can have them all and use as you want, beside the logo mark alone. This way you can use it separately or tied with the name at other times with different positioning s / looks .
I will submit those ideas you suggested for you to see.
And I know we tried this before, but maybe one more time. Can you try #62 with a "looser" font. Don't stray far from what you have, just a little "curvier"
would you be able to try a font similar to #58 or #96?
Sorry to reference another artist, I just wasn't sure how else to explain it. I would love to see how our designs would look with a font similar to those
Sure, don't worry about referencing a font, the reason is, it is not theirs and its everyone else to use, since it is out there and have not been given a unique treatment by the designer to be protected then.
So, i will see if i find fonts that are similar to those you referenced and submit on #62 for you to check out and see how they look like on those font styles.
Thanks again for all of your hard work thus far. Keeping the design like #62, would you mind trying a font like #149? And others like it. Much appreciated
