Like design #14. Can you lose the moon. Try putting a subtle silhouette of the mountain behind the HOLLYWOOD name. We can try one with and without. Also, let's try some different colors with the HALLOWEEN name in the logo, like orange. The red looks good but I would like to have some blood drops like you started in the gray color. Lastly, we need an image to pump this up. A pair of menacing, creepy, evil, horror peering eyes that would appear above the HOLLYWOOD name. Something that cuts through the black background. The name is good at communicating the event but we need a graphic to take it over the top. Remember billboards, t-shirts, etc. Look forward to seeing your next designs!
Hi, new entries based on feedback. I've created a pair of evil, sinister eyes that sit above the hollywood sign. Have a couple of versions with and without the moon - I think the moon adds a bit more atmosphere to the designs. Have also changed the colors as requested and added a bit more blood effect as requested. let me know if you'd like to see any other changes. Thanks. BMF
The eyes are very cool and communicate quickly the "Spooky" that we are going for without being totally over the top. The font for Hollywood seems to work well but the Halloween is not dramatic enough or clear enough. View the top 6 selections on your screen from 4 feet away and look how clear the simple font only logo of #3 is. Other elements can be added later like the moon etc but we need to establish a clean clear logo first. The white eyes are more effective so please try this on the version that is currently in first place and see if you can beef up the Halloween font to make it stronger.
Hi, new versions attached. I've given two options on the font for halloween - much bolder but still creepy with the blood splatter effect. I think this is standing out much better and I've balanced it up so that both words are the same width across. let me know if this is working better for you or if you'd like any other changes.
