What We Do
As-needed, fee-only (no product sales or commissions) financial planning for individuals and couples who need to know whether they are on track to achieving the life they want to live, but are suspicious of traditional financial advisors' conflicts of interest.
Our Target Audience:
Baby Boomer individuals and couples in Florida who have done a good job saving and/or investing during working years, but are not quite confident in their abilities to make the best decisions once they are no longer working. Their children are financially independent. Most will have at least a college education and a net worth between $500K - $5 million. Many are readers of Kiplingers, Wall St. Journal, Bloomberg, Money magazine, and are confused by conflicting advice in the financial press and from financial institution advertisements. They have had interactions with traditional financial advisors and come away with a gut feeling that their best interests were not being served. They are seeking financial advice the same way they receive medical, legal and accounting advice - from a professional who only sells their advice and nothing else. They recognize this is unconventional but are comfortable with that. They tend to seek professional services from small firms and sole proprietors and are turned off by million-dollar offices and corporate-speak. To them the credentials, care, authenticity, and professionalism of their advisor are of utmost importance.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
I like my current logo, but I got married and have changed the business name. Plus it's a few years old so I don't know if it looks dated or not. Maybe it needs an update, or maybe it just needs the new name pasted in there in a visually appealing way.
