Thanks FunDesign! You really have a good feel for my style. I like the clean, simple font, and the incorportation of a playful yet sophisticated image. I think I'd like the colors to be more towards grey than brown and a slightly bluer range of greens than what's pictured.... Similar to the colors on my website.
#1 - I think this is my favorite so far, I love the swing on the 'd'... I'm slightly concerned that it may read a bit like "kia" instead of "kid". Also, up until now, I've used "HolisticKid.com"... I like it without the ".com", but this logo wouldn't work if I decided it needed to be included.
#3, 4 - I like the image being separate from text (though I really like it incorporated in #1) because I could potentially use the image part of the logo separate from the text (like on letterhead). However, the tree/swing in these 2 are too strong of an image. They make me feel like Holistic Kid should be a park, rather than a Holistic/Natural Health service. Which leads to...
#6 - I like this one too, though as is, the butterfly is a bit generic. I'd love it if the butterfly was subtly formed by something relevant to my practice... baby feet, hands, or acupuncture needles, mortar and pestal, etc. Without being too cheesy, of course. Here's a logo that uses needles as part of a flower. (I like the lighter shade of green in this example too)...
http://www.bendependent.com/content/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/ea_acupuncture.gifOne of the unique elements of my practice is the blending of western medical knowledge with Eastern traditions and remedies from nature... perhaps it may work to also have an image that incorporates the western medicine and nature... like a stethescope and flower melded together or something similar.
Thanks! Looking forward to seeing more. :)
