Hitter's LogLogo Design Contest

We are looking for a logo that belongs in the realm of professional sports logos like Under Armor or ESPN. We aren't necessarily looking to have a bat and ball in the logo unless it really works well. We want sleek, fast, technologically advanced, competitive, and serious. Hitter's Log will help advance really serious players by analyzing their stats. The logo should advertise that.

Some ideas... icon with binder rings or spiral of a notebook on the side

maybe a sleek hl (combo or not) with a batter in there somewhere. HL should work by itself also...

we have uploaded a pencil sketch for a potential idea where a batter sits between the H and the L of hitter's log. Check it out.

We are excited about the logos that are coming out. We encourage all designers to find exciting batter images to incorporate into their design. Our initial sketch of the batter is a point of departure, but should not limit you to that drawing. We are also looking closely at color. Great job so far!

We would also like our logo to have a few versions. The HL could stand alone, have "hitter's log" written under it, and it could be written alongside (for the header of our website). The versatility will be a factor in the final design choice.

We would like the image of the batter to be active, strong, and to promote an ideal posture/positioning. The perfect swing or the perfect stance. Because we are a tool for player development, our icon should be looked at as something to learn from or look up to.
