Mobile app helping college students find tasks for hire.

I would like to see, simple neutrals close to Black and White, but have a pop of color maybe Blue and or Red

This is a business based about College students, so we are thinking Graduation Cap, Maybe books, or Science beakers. Also something to represent hard work like a paint brush or a rake and or babysitting maybe sports. Think about people that are harder works like Rosie the Riveter. But also keep it simple because this is a tech/software company. Think about a generic person wearing a graduation cap holding a book in one hand and a shovel or tool in the other.
