Wow Anna, this is awesome for a first attempt. Thank you! You've captured a LOT. Could you try inputting some more color, like using pink for the "Hiker Chick"? I don't know if I want pink, but I would like to see what it looks like. And maybe the blue you used in "chick" for the outline of the mountains, and green incorporated behind the silhouette of the woman, like grass in a meadow. I also like the pack being a different color. Since the main product will be a fanny pack, could you try to make the pack sit just over the hips?... I love it already, just would like to see more color.
Wow, the color changes everything! It's too much - now I know. I'd like to see the colors of the mountain and meadow stay vivid (the same as #3) with everything else like in #2 Entry, Rank 1. Please adjust the fanny pack to a higher position so it doesn't look like over-sized panties, and put it back to yellow as in #2. Also, the 'fanny' part should be slightly bigger & higher up the back, and the belt part slightly narrower. Lookin' good...
Also, I'd like to see the sides of the "H" straighter, more up and down but with the flow the same leading into and out of the letter and still pointing toward "Chick" as it is now.
#6 looks great, a few ideas: I definitely like the pole included as in #1 & 2 as opposed to her hand up, and could you eliminate the green of the "meadow" and try the word "chick" in green? Also, my hubby thinks we should see how she looks without any pack on her back, he says it's distracting - I think he might be right. The "brown" is perfect where you have it for her silhouette and the lettering of HIKER, I really like it. The "H" is perfect too. Maybe there doesn't need the yellow "pack" to be contrasting as I thought it did before. I seem to be changing my mind a little as I go - this is my fave so far, and #2...great work!
In looking at these more, I'd like to see the light blue shading extended a bit more from the mountains, (no green there but "chick" in green instead, the sun solid (as in #3), and the blue "river" squiggly like in #2. Thank you!!!!
I LOVE IT! 1 small change-please put the water bottle in yellow so it stands out more. I am going to run this by several friends, but I think this is the one. wooo-hooo!
BTW, so glad you're safe and back home. That must have been frightening...One other small change - I think the "H", the right vertical line of it, does look better just a tad squiggly to more closely match the blue "river". Could you please play with that? Notice no one else seems to want to compete with you! heh
2 friends think this might look better with the "H" straight as is #8, and no "river" in blue. they found the river looks confusing, like an "S". I like the "S" river but would like to see it the other way. I'd like to see "Hiker" in a slightly darker green. Could you try it that way so we can check it out? Thank you...
Hey Anna, I screwed up - I meant I'd like to see "Chick" in that darker green, not "Hiker", sorry! - although it is interesting in green too. I like the "H" without the river "S", it is more clear to read - and I like the dk brown for the silhouette of the girl. It's down to #18, but with the different "H", and with "Chick" in the darker green. That should do it. I'll try to be more alert from here on out...thank you!
a couple more requests: could you please do one rendition with the hyphen added to hiker-chick? Subtle but so it shows? And could I see what just "hiker-chick" would look like without the other stuff i.e. girl and mountains?- and what it would look like with the letters and the silhouette of the girl but no background? I will likely want to use different versions for different products, and would like to see how it looks. Thanks much!
Ya-hoooo! I want to do #45 as my main logo, (without the hyphen and .com), and then #45 as the secondary logo w/hyphen and .com, and for other needs I want the two, #46 and #47. I don't expect to get all 3 for one price, I just wanted to see how they looked. They look fabulous! You have been incredible to work with Anna, I am absolutely THRILLED with this logo - all 4 final renditions. I would like to continue working with you if that's okay. I understand there will be more expenses involved, of course.
