Love the friendly face on the #11. However it doesn't identify with the Highlands of Scotland wearing a suit. A kilt would be cool. Highland cows are generally a bit more ginger in colour too but this isn't too important. We do want it to look friendly and I'm not sure #15 gives the this impression.
I hope the above helps and offer it only to try and help get the logo looking as we want it.

We have had some feedback from friends and family and whilst we like the friendly faced highland cow we need it to convey a feeling of luxury and quality that we are offering to our customers. Highland Farm Cottages are a luxury group of cottages in the Highlands of Scotland and we want a brand that conveys luxury accommodation with a Scottish Highland theme.
