Discussion

Entry#7 Ok, I do like part of what you've done. Looking at your portfolio I do think that you have the sensibility to design a great logo for me. All BLACK silhouette, no color. It will probably be used sort of like the swish Nike logo, meaning stamped on lots of different fabrics and colors. When I mentioned the yellow, I meant it could be nice to see it on the bright yellow. The mint logo is awesome and would be the right direction for you to take. I would like the silhouette to be slighty more sexy, still not incorporated in as a letter as mint is. > As per my brief which I think tha might be a little unclear given the couple entry I've gotten. This is NOT a fitness company, I simply mentioned that it's an active demographic who are obviously into fitness and my brand will enable them to incorporate their wardrobe from the gym or yoga into their day to day streetwear. I also mentioned and linked the http://environmentfurniture.reachlocal.net/?utm_source=ReachLocal&utm_medium=PPC&utm_campaign=showrooms I love the environment furniture font and look and feel. Generally the customer who understand that brand is who I'm going after. I hope this helps and would love to see what you may come up with.

You don't have to worry about the gradual light to dark on the font. I don't think that it will translate, especially when printed. My bad but thanks for trying. I am excited to see what you come up with next. I really like your work.. Best so far for sure...

I think the elevated i is a nice idea but I don't think I would go for that only because I think it's a little too playful for a long lasting brand. One thing I'd really like if you could try the highest form all on one line as you did but use the exact environment furniture font. And try on seperate lines as well. Also if you could try different fonts i.e. "courrier" "copperplate gothic" or very thin fine clean lines which I'm not sure what font that is. If you go on the Eat Pray Love movie site and you look at the ITALY word on the home page. Thank you

I'd like to see a version with the environment font or a very close take on it. Maybe the exact font with the letters slithly detatched. Hard to describe this but lower case as environment but another version where for example the h would be in 2 pieces and m would be in 3 pieces. and all the letters to be consistent.Wow it's almost impossible to descrive but try it if you can... thank you ,

#8 How about trying to use the silhouette for and incorporate it as the i of highest form using the font from #1. I like your work
14 years ago

#8 or use #12 lay out with that font and leaving form on the bottom right as #8 and bring the silhouette from the bottom level up into the top highest and make that the i of highest.

#152 Thank you, I extended the contest as I'm sure you could see. It was stritcly for me to get some time to make final decision. I'm only allowed one extension but it will come to an end in the next day.

#156 and 152. Could you try the est slightly slanted the same direction of the silhouette "to the right"?

#44 could you take the logo of this #44 and minimize it slightly and use the font of #179 which I hate to do this as it didn't come under your account but I want to finish this contest. Your silhouette was pretty much the first to come in and is the winner for sure. I unfortunately guided you in leaving a seperation within the h and the m which you were right in the first place. So if you can look at # 179 font and adapt the exact font and boldness and minimize the silhouette in proportion but not as little as the font. I do like the boldness of the silhouette to be bigger than the font but I think the contrast in size is too great in #44. We should be done with it. Please send back to me and we can finalize this. Thank you.

you almost had the font right in #8 so I don't feel so bad about telling you to look at #179. You worked really hard on this. Thank you, can't wait to finalize...

192 I love it, just would love one or two version playing with a couple letters backwards. i.e. the g or the e. Don't do it to the h, it turns into an n and it's weird. Also if you could make the font a little more square i.e. environment furniture. Thanks

218: try one more exactly as 218 but no space between highestform. Highest being bolder and form lighter. If you could try one with the line over the t continuing over the f as per # but it will also change tone from the t to the f.

ok, if you can try what I mentioned about highestform with no space with highest being bolder and form lighter and have the line over the t continuing over the f. Please try on your #218, 202, 21, 203. I will leave the 218 as #1 in the ranking and the next 4 you'll send so you'll be in the top 5 and that is all the friends voting see. It will be one of those... Thank you.
