I like the shield concept, but I am forced to say that as my mind sorted out the HF, a swastika was one of the filters. Maybe it's just me.

Do this if you can:
1. Use white for the color of the central character.
2. Put a red background behind him.
3. Use royal blue and white for the ring colors with white lettering.
4. If you can find a figure with a raised barbell overhead, substitute the words "RAISING THE BAR".
5. Make the word "FITNESS" a little larger.

Okay, here's the deal. Everyone here likes the shield design of 136, but the colors and readability are much better on 134.
You're almost there. Can you reverse the red and blue on 136, and enlarge the character while also making "RAISING THE BAR" more readable?
I don't even know if that's possible, but we really like the shield shape.
