Hi :) My entry has a vintage aesthetic and features a baker's peel. I thought the peel was most appropriate because it's a tool that's been used for centuries, but is still very important in larger scale (non-home) bakeries today. The wheat references the heritage wheat that is used for the flour of course. I thought a single color logo could work really well (and be cost-effective) on brown kraft bags / tags. Sort of stamp-like.
Hi - Thanks for the ranking :) I had a few questions that will help in the next rounds of revisions, if you don't mind. Will you be strictly a restaurant / cafe / bakery? Will the majority of your business / sales be from on-site consumption (served baked goods eaten in-house) or will it be a buy now / eat later? Will you be selling through other vendors (placement in grocers, other eateries, etc.?
hi josh could you do entry 51 in a circular border? we will primarily be selling to other vendors at the moment with plans to have a retail space in the near future - i like the idea of the single color stamp label thanks!
It's been pointed out to me that this logo is similar to a logo I did about a year ago in another contest for another bakery. https://logotournament.com/contests/147696
I have an unique illustration style and I can definitely see the similarities. (With that in mind, most people can tell my work from others because my style is distinctive in everything I do from logos to illustration work. I can't say it's a bad thing.) The contest previously mentioned does use the same font (it's a favorite of mine) and similar wheat (because...well...in this style of illustration, wheat kinda looks the same)
I personally don't think it's a problem, but at the risk of a bias, I thought I'd run it by you anyway :)
