What We Do
This is an electric vehicle company with a diesel or hydrogen generator that recharges your batteries. Our customers are environmentally minded however do not have the luxury of being near a power grid to recharge vehicles. These people would be desert explorers, military, oil field workers, in short anybody that is unable to get to a charging station and needs top performance.

Color Preferences
Black, gray, red, or blue. Not red and blue.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
The name helix hybrid would be in an all CAPS font that would also be a modern font, think of Tron or something to that effect. A logo will also be created by using two identical patterns that seem to be working in unison with one another and creating a helix. I am NOT interested in an actual helix, like a DNA pattern. In short, I am looking for the form of the helix but I am not looking at the ladder that typically joins the helix. I will be attaching another logo which my own all rights to that was a logo done some years ago for a skateboard company. You will note the bold and twisting lines. The winning artist will capture the same feel of the attached logo but successfully detach the horn pattern and change it into a helix.

Thank you for your submittals. I’m looking for something a little more three dimensional in the logo itself. Also something a little more futuristic In the font.

Thank you for all the submittals. I like the direction, TONS of talent here. I welcome unique ideas to the contest and, I’d like to give a little more direction:

A unique technology advanced looking font is half the battle. I like the use of negative space where possible. I’m going to avoid specificities, however a symmetrically balanced logo is desirable. Even if the symmetry is balanced with its own negative space. Thank you and good luck!

I love the submittals, they’re looking amazing. So much talent in this contest. I’m very excited to be working with all of you. No I believe we’re going the right direction, I would like to see if somebody is bold enough to try a couple of renditions with the logo itself looking more digital. Still, I like the smooth organic lines of the logos, but something that looks digital to match your font could capture my interest. Thank you very much. One more thing, please don’t pay to close attention to the rankings right now. There are so many submittals it’s hard to give each logo all of the attention it deserves. I will take the time to do this, along with a panel of others, Monday 10 o’clock Pacific time USA. Until then, if you are in the green column, consider yourself a contender. if you are not in the green column and I have moved you over into uninterested, please accept my apologies, I am trying to save you time as well as filter through our logos. We have moved several over there that are very very good, but perhaps not the direction we are headed. Even with that said those will also be reviewed with the panel and they could easily be moved out from that column And turn into a contender next week. Thank you, and good luck to everyone.

I’ve just updated a couple of files/screenshots of fonts for reference. If you are a winner of the contest and need to purchase a font after, I will pay for this. Thank you!

Thanks for all of the submissions. Really awesome. I would like to throw out one last idea before the blind phase is over As well as offer a little more direction. It’s important to remember that this logo is going to be put on the side of a hybrid vehicle that is going to be a very heavy duty vehicle. It will be stamped into steel, engine blocks, so something that looks like it has been stamped at a steel foundry is the general idea. We have plenty of submissions that qualify for this. After going over it this morning and all of the submissions it was brought up that because of the organic nature of the logo in general, perhaps we could try a variation where as the logo looks like a set of wings. This is exploratory, if anybody wants to take a shot at it. Thank you again, very impressive the amount of talent here. Please remember, if you feel that you have been under ranked, we will be going through everything again as a board later on today making final adjustments as to where we think everything should fall. Good luck!

Awesome submittals, we’re going to go over these for about 18 hours here so just hold tight and we will narrow down the top 10. I understand logo tournament only lets the top five submit, but as of right now basically the top 15 still have a shot.
