This is awesome, and I love it. Can I see it with "Meditation Center" a little darker or bigger or both? I'm picturing it as a sign on a building... I love this font and the colors!
As you've suggested, I've made two options with brighter colors, without losing the balance of tone,...check out entries #387 and #389! I think we've managed to avoid resemblance to Windovs logo,...colors are unique and eye-catching!
I've also used that last font modification,...that also might be considered custom made!
Hi! I like both the original font and this one. I personally love these colors, but my business partner would like to see brighter colors-- is there a way to brighten all the colors without losing the balance of tone? And in order to avoid the Windows Logo perhaps we could make the red a little purple-y. We're getting close!
I've just uploaded few more font alternatives (#380, #381, #382 and #383). Options on #380 and #381 might be interesting, but if you stay with this font, you wouldn't be making mistake,...it's clean, simple, easy readable, contemporary looking font!
I really like this one, and so does my business partner. Can we just fuss with it a little more just to see what it looks like? So far I think it really does a great job showing balance, grounding, warmth, and sophistication. I love the colors. Can we just experiment a little more with font? Something interesting, clean, and bold?
...just checking out this option, based on some of my initial designs,...looks good, and blue circular line visualy connects entire logo icon, with text part,...although it might not have strenght of dark linework on my previous entries!
...aqua blue, for Water element on this version instead of green! reduces Windows logo effect and gives a spiritual calmnes of water symbol! Thoughts? Thnx!
I've made some proportional and color modifications on entries #363/#364, and a bit more saturated colors on #365/#366,...these are variations with colors you've suggested.
I also made one option with aqua blue for Water, sky blue for Air, ocre for Earth, and dark red for Fire,...entries #367/#368! Basicaly, I've replaced green, for Water, with aqua blue!
Got it all! I'll be back soon with some modifications based on your latest feedback,...and explanations about symbolism behind designs and color options!
Hi Bojan!
I just got off the phone with my web design team. I want to tell you I have SO appreciated your ongoing work and listening to my requests! I'm learning more about this process as I go-- if you hadn't already guessed, this is the first logo design process that I've been a part of. My team gave me feedback that I need to communicate the values and story behind my business rather than me (an amateur) guessing at the visual changes that might better represent what I'm going for. I think the logo is coming along beautifully, and that we will arrive at the final logo together as we continue to get on the same page. In brief, here are the words that I want my logo to convey (using the IAM logo, but creative license beyond that):
The Four Elements
Earth- yellow, grounding
Water - green, community
Fire - red, power
Air - blue, inspiration
Overall, we want to be a meditation center for EVERYone-- all people, for all reasons--to improve health, relationships, for empowerment, transformation, healing, community, and spirituality. Warmth + Eye-Catching professionalism. My investor said that he wanted to see more power conveyed by the logo. I know this is a broad and tall order. I would love to hear your reasons for making the visual choices that you have made. Thank you so much for all of your time and work so far!
Can you un-tighten the spiral a tiny bit? :-) Check out iamheart.org to refer back to their logo. How would it go to turn the black outline on the logo into white negative space, and then a circle around the whole thing? I'm just curious. And I like what you said about centering the logo over the text to communicate balance, but I want the whole thing to be a little more eye-catching-- how could we make it pop a little more?
Here's requested modification with spiral tightened, like on the original "IamHeart" logo, more olive green color and subtext slightly enlarged! This looks cool!
I noticed that this version of the IAM logo is a little different from the original. Can you tighten the spiral of the four "arms"? And can you try making the words Meditation Center even bigger?
Here are suggested modifications on this color selection (#343, #344, #345, #346),...increased contrast and maroon red,...other colors less saturated. If you're after less playful color selection, maybe red/green/yellow/blue is not that suitable. Color options on #299, or version that represents 4 elements (fire, water, air, earth) on #226, might be more suitable on symbolic level!?
Hi Bojan! Okay, after some more reflection:
Can we experiment with the design/color/font to convey more sacredness and power? Maybe some maroon instead of the rust color? Higher contrast? Right now it is almost a little playful, which we're not really looking for. Thank you for all of your experimentation!
I like this one... Can we move Meditation Center down so the tail of the Y in Rhythm is visible? and are there fonts that are both clean and sophisticated? A little less playful maybe? I like this one though.
I've looked at all these variations we've made with "fresh eyes", and came up with few more proportional tweaks on both color options. I've played with line tickness, fonts and texture.
On entries #315/#316 I've kept basic line tickness, but used different fonts for both, main text and subtext. Slightly thinner main text, equaly balanced on both words, for better readability, not to divert focus or disrupt the balance of overall composition.
On entries #317/#318 I've made lines thicker, with adaped font,...taller, stronger. Might be a bit too heavy, if we're talking about meditation, but worth checking out!
And in the end something new. On entries #319/#320 I've used original text font, but replaced subtext font, ...and line tickness is medium (not too thin, nor to heavy,...I think just right). But main change is balance between textured and non-textured part of the logo icon,...it gives the whole thing additional dynamic, while keeping it clean/simple/professional. Versions with dots on the sides of subtext on entries #321/#322.
I've made some font options on green/blue version, but it is easy to change colors if you prefer this one in the end and like specific font. Slightly larger subtext is on entries #300/#301!
Sure thing,...it's a real pleasure working on development of this visual identity, when there's such a constructive feedback from your side,...and I believe it shows on design itself!
I've made suggested variations on both color options, with slightly larger subtext (#298/#300), and versions without texture (#299/#301). There are also some alternative font options on #302, #303, #304, #305 and #306.
Late night at my place at the moment, so I'll keep exploring it more tomorrow.
I like these colors too! Can you experiment a little bit with different fonts? And could you make the words "Meditation Center" a bit bigger? Thank you!!
...horizontal layout looks good, and it is deliverable as alternative layout for centralized one,...both can be useful for various practical applications!
...this layout looks really weird, if we use shorter font,...it forces logo icon to shrink,...so I've used taller font. Still suggesting to go with centralized layout!
I see what you're saying,...we can try that layout, and few others, but in this case where meditation is involved, centralized layout rexlects stability and balance on symbolic level,...disrupting that might send wrong message. I'll be back soon with few alternative layouts, including the one you suggested!
This is exciting. Could you try a different composition of text/image? I hope I can convey this in words: Image in upper left, the word Heart to the right of it stacked on top of the word Rhythm, and then Meditation Center underneath the whole thing starting on the left of the image and going all the way to the right edge of Rhythm.
...after some additional color testing, there are few more possibilities on entries #278, #279 and #280! ...check them out, if nothing alse, just to eliminate them as options!
...just one more version of entry #241, with slightly thicker linework,...just wanted to try it, so we can compare. It's a bit more "heavy" than original design.
I've tested your suggestion and found that if we use basic blue/red/green/yellow color, it has strange association with Windows logo, or Chrome logo. So, Ive made one version more suitable for your line of work, with more earthly tones on #271, and explored some alternatives on #269, #270 and #272!
Color combo on this entry, with 4 elements presented, to me still has most powerfull impact, and stronger symbolic background.
Let me know what you think, and if I can be of further assistance! Thank you!
This would be suggested version with blue/red/green/yellow, but more saturated colors resemble Windows logo colors,...so I've selected more eartly tones of those colors,...closer to meditation symbolism!
After further tweaks on colors, this might be interesting,...just slightly more saturated colors than original version, but not too much, so it doesn't look playful!
If you place it next to current no1, you'll see the difference!
You're doing a wonderful job of listening to my feedback and I really appreciate it! Thanks for helping me figure out what I'm going for. Can you experiment with some different/bolder colors?
Here's one potentialy interesting design with 4 elements you've suggested and texture added to them! I've used this color combo, but we can play with color!
Hi Bojan, Instead of shiny appearance, can you play with other "textures?" I like the dots on either side of Meditation Center. Can you deepen the yellow tone?
I like the colors, and I know this might be confusing, but can you try simplifying or shrinking the water droplets? Or maybe you can bring in an elements theme-- earth, water, fire, air?

Here are few initial design concepts, in mandala form, but also incorporating community segment, as well as "I am Heart" logo elements!
Hope you'll find them interesting, and feel free to suggest potential improvements! Thank you!
