first of all, i thanks to your great explanation, and really thanks to your great feedbacks, since your direction to create based I AM logo and play with earth color tone (yellow/green/blue/red), i've said to myself if i should make it more 'warmer' design and i know this is for meditation, which is spiritual media for human integrate with a nature to improve their good things, then i choose color sequence from yellow to green to blue to red, (i know you pick that color for a reason) I try to convey 'maturity, down to earth, pure, tranquil with that color sequence. For the text, i'm emphasis in 'heart' because i believe 'heart' is core of this. And i make the tagline align to title to keep the 'balance'. And keep it the font sophisticated and mature. Hope this answer well : )
I just got off the phone with my web design team. I want to tell you I have SO appreciated your ongoing work and listening to my requests! I'm learning more about this process as I go-- if you hadn't already guessed, this is the first logo design process that I've been a part of. My team gave me feedback that I need to communicate the values and story behind my business rather than me (an amateur) guessing at the visual changes that might better represent what I'm going for. In brief, here are the words that I want my logo to convey (using the IAM logo, but creative license beyond that):
The Four Elements
Earth- yellow, grounding
Water - green, community
Fire - red, power
Air - blue, inspiration
Overall, we want to be a meditation center for EVERYone-- all people, for all reasons--to improve health, relationships, for empowerment, transformation, healing, community, and spirituality. Warmth + Eye-Catching professionalism. My investor said that he wanted to see more Power conveyed by the logo. I know this is a broad and tall order. I would love to hear your reasons for making the visual choices that you have made. Thank you so much for all of your time and work so far!
Hi Asmara,
I like your text a lot. Can we fill in all quadrants, but instead of using pastel colors can we use darker, higher contrast colors? I like this mustard yellow-- can we deepen it? Let's try olive green, mustard yellow, crystal blue, and burgundy? And then can you experiment with making the black outline white negative space with a gray or black circle around the whole thing?
For the internal small circles, could you alternate the colors? Swap blue and yellow, and swap red and green? And could you also deepen the colors and make them more earth-toned? How about gray or white for the very center of the logo?
I like this aesthetic and how you incorporated a heart into the circle, however we don't sit in lotus position for Heart Rhythm Meditation. Can you experiment with the IAM logo?
