One thing that we noticed (and like) about this design is that, if facing to our right, it is the intended phoenix... if you look at it as facing left and the crest is actually a beak, It looks like a hummingbird.
We wondered whether it was possible to accentuate that effect (maybe by moving the top line slightly to the left, or reducing the curve of the neck) without detracting from the striking effect of the phoenix?
Also, I went to declare this the winner, but the instructions that came up sounded like we would be unable to tweak the design after the winner was declared. My understanding was that we still had a week to finalize... ???
While I LOVE the phoenix logo, I really like what a butterfly represents, and the fact that it is an actual creature. That is why we have been continuing on this track. I would like to see this logo with something that actually looks like a butterfly and caterpillar. Also, I just want the caterpillar on one side.
Thank you! :)
We really like the imagery of the butterfly, too, but not the wispiness so much. I think a little contrast to the rainbow colors would be nice, too. Maybe a random caterpillar crawling over the top circle?
We liked the asymmetry of this one, but would like the outside circle to either be wider than the wingspan on the left side, or that the line be broken there and resume beneath the wing (so the line of the circle doesn't cross the line of the wing).
I like the shading but not the color, still. How about making the shading brown/yellow with the hair brown... also, the shape of the head isn't quite right.
I love the variation with the 2 rainbow stripes... not sure which one we like better, though.
I like this wave. Beautiful! could you make it more of a rainbow? I would like to see how it looks with the Health Happy and figure outline being greenish brown and the "nutritional therapy" and figure interior being more of an army green (like the 2 colors in my current logo).
Colors I'm interested in for the person and text are: dark/royal purple, army green (the color of my original) maybe with black, mustard or a little deep, royal blue.
Also, I am about to put a general post up about the fonts I prefer.
Thank you. I was thinking of something more conceptual, that streamed behind the figure (probably from the other hand) that spanned across, above the text... colorful or wave-like.
This is the design that my business partner and I come closest to agreeing on... Id really like to see what you can do with the suggestions I gave on it.
One concern of my partner's is that the logo be easily transferable to screen printer and other mediums, which means not a lot of transparent space... please keep this in mind when considering what flows from the figure's hand. Thank you!
I like the colors and general feel of this one... like people dancing in a circle. It does not feel original, though, and the "nutritional Therapy" font is illegible (I like the first font).
I wonder how it would look to have the people making a circle around the text... or even spiraling into the distance?
I don't like the colors, either... maybe if something was coming out of her (I use that pronoun even though I like the figure being fairly gender neutral) hand, like a rainbow, or water, or a vine.
Nice! What if the spiral was thicker and shorter... maybe a brush stroke?... the colors army green and deep purple... maybe... mustard (or darker) font... and the font could be softer/flowier, but still clearly legible. Also, the 'forehead' seems to come forward a little too much.
This one is growing on me... it reminds me of a nautilus (good). I think I would want the image to have more color (maybe not...) and be more inclusive of the fire/water energies. As I mentioned on the other design, I don't care for the fonts, especially the bottom one which is hard to read.
This one is very creative! There's a lot going on in there. I like the image... probably with different colors, less spiral, maybe a wave instead of the hand? I'm not sure what the fin on the forehead represents, or if it's just decorative? Don't like the fonts so much... I think I prefer different colors/sizes of the same font and would like it all to be clearly legible.
