Great designs, need to have the role of music emphasized more, more zen, more soothing. Like the content of #5, like the graphic simplicity of #1. #5 is too busy from a distance, #1 has an interesting symbol, but may not be what I am looking for.

As a practicing physician ( heart surgeon ) and music affectionado , I have studied and seen the value of music therapy both for the hospitalized inpatient and the outpatient such as one who sits for hours receiving chemotherapy. This logo for Healing Music Institute must have a reference to music in the symbol such as a musical note and the authentic medical symbol- not a variant of it as this will be utilized in a hospital setting hopefully worldwide. I have completed a musical CD with renowned professional musicians so this concept is the real deal and supported in the medical literature .hence the need for an extremely Profesional logo to match what our group is doing.
Love the terminology of "Music as a Medical Device " but I am not convinced that " device " is the best word to use. #1,#2,#3#4and #11 don't work at all.

#12 and #13 are not even in the ballpark of what I am seeking. #"s 5 ,7, 9,10,14 are my favorites thus far but could you find a way to put a Music note or symbol to the design. Also love the colors blue and red representing arterial and venous blood ie, the Heart - Circulatory system.
Also # 1,2,3,4,11,12,13 can be omitted.

#15 is my favorite thus far. Would it be possible to utilize the colors or color of the circulatory system -red and blue. Red would be the preferred color ie, the color of blood as I hope to impart the concept of tuning our HEART to engage in this music for personal HEALING. I love the design-round but after much thought ,would consider removing the phrase " music as a medical device off the logo.
Also consider a change of the name to " Healing Therapies Institute " but leaving the medicus symbol and the music note.

I have reviewed the musical part of the logo with the professional musician who created the music for this project. As advised for the exactness of the medicus symbol the same holds true for the musical symbol. He desires a treble clef with a staff and possible key signature.
