I simplified the design using the spiral nestled in an earthy, organically shaped square. The spiral is intended to contain the essence of all elements within it. It may be the oldest of humankind's symbols and occurs in cave paintings 10,000 years old. The nature of the spiral is that it represents the flow of physical and spiritual energy and continual change. It is also very feminine. The square was selected for balance, strength and the masculine. I chose to explore this approach to keep your message simple, balanced and memorable. I hope you like!Kim(This comment references Entry #132) 15 years ago peachdz9 Logo Designer As you can see...simply changing the colors creates a more contemporary feel. Earthy or contemporary....this design works well in all applications. Also easily translates to black and white.(This comment references Entry #133) 15 years ago peachdz9 Logo Designer This concept implies no particular religious affiliation or practice... rather, speaks to the primal origins of us all. 15 years ago Dr. Jared McCollum Client Can you incorporate all of the symbols in proper order using the colors of entry #132. You can make them smaller so they fit. Also could you use the font for the tag line used in entry #66. Thank you so much. you have chosen the colors of our office so this looks great. 15 years ago peachdz9 Logo Designer Hi Dr. McCollum,I'm happy to incorporate all the elements. That is funny that I selected the colors of your office. :) New designs to come.......Kim 15 years ago Dr. Jared McCollum Client Hello Kim,We have been getting a lot of feedback from our patients as we have had the contest listed on our facebook page. One idea that I had not thought about was incorporating the symbols with a cherry blossoms motif. We have a large wall mural of a cherry blossom tree in the office and many patients have asked to see that added to the logo. I would love to see what you could come up with.Dr. McCollum 15 years ago Dr. Jared McCollum Client Hello Kim,I really like entry #132 and so do my employees and many of our patients. They like that it looks very organic and rough. It reminds me of a stamp which is often used for seals and art in China. I would love to see each symbol separate as well as a rectangle with all five laid out in it. So it feels more connected. That is what I really liked about this entry that it is singular, but the five elements are such a huge part of our practice and my book we need to incorporate them all as I often use the logo to teach them. Thank you for your hard work you are very talented.Dr. McCollum 15 years ago peachdz9 Logo Designer Hi Dr. McCollum,I just wanted to let you know I have read your feedback and will submit your requests before the contest ends. I have meeting out of the office all day today....so, will not be able to begin the new designs until this evening. I just didn't want you to think I was ignoring you. :)I am very excited you like my work...and look forward to incorporating the other elements.Kim 15 years ago Dr. Jared McCollum Client Could you use a green (olive green?) instead of the yellow for the symbols and name in #154.Thanks 15 years ago peachdz9 Logo Designer Here is your logo with a more muted olive green.(This comment references Entry #165) 15 years ago
