Please, dont think i dont understood the directions, with entry #1 i just wanted to see how the second part (the variable) of the logo will look like. In the next entries i will use the others (Hawaiian Grown Kitchen, Hawaiian Grown Catering, Hawaiian Grown Bistro, Hawaiian Grown TV, Hawaiian Grown Sauces, Hawaiian Grown Restaurants, Hawaiian Grown Cafe, Hawaiian Grown Produce etc) with other fonts, styles, placements and icons. Then, i can work based on your feedback, combining the entries (the best font, with your favorite style, the placement you need and the right icon.

Also, please dont worry about the low participation, usually designers wait until the last 24 hours to submit, so it will be in the last day when you´ll receive most of the entries.

I wish you the best of lucks in your contest! From my part i will do my best. My apologies that i couldnt arrive earlier.

Best regards,

I do like the field feel of #5. I wonder if you can follow the ahapua’a theme and somehow draw in a shoreline at the bottom zone of the mountain/field pic?

In old Hawaiʻi, ahupuaʻa was the common subdivision of the land. It consisted most frequently of a slice of an island that went from the top of the local mountain (volcano) to the shore, often following the boundary of a stream drainage. Each ahupuaʻa included a lowland mala (cultivated area) and upland forested region.

#8 could be one of my top picks if the papaya was not green fleshed and the fish hook was designed a bit more realistic. Not as blocky and thick.
