Hi Stacey! Thanks for inviting me to participate in your contest. I didn't have a ton of time to spend on it tonight, but I thought I'd put out the first idea that came to mind to see if it leaves you feeling hot or cold! I've designed a lettermark for H and E, in which I've cut a negative space H out of a square, leaving an E shape behind. I rounded the corners to soften the look. As to this design (Entry #39), I'm lukewarm on it. I like the thought process you have stated above...for example, softening the look by rounding the corners...many of the designs presented so far from other designers are very harsh...I think I want something strong, but still balanced with a softness (I think your design does this well). The colors are appealing to me. I like the font. I like the story behind the interlocking of the H and E. I'm hesitant to go with a letter type logo though because the initials spell "he" and clearly, I am a "she". I also feel like the balance between the size of the logo and the size of HarmonEnterprises is off a bit...logo seems really big in comparison...although I like the user of Harmon Enterprises as one word with the color variation for the different words.
