About colors:For complex figure is good only dark color, dark blue or black.Red is too hectic, green too weak. About shape: Circle-shaped design works like media push button.I made also the harlequin figure a little bigger
Dont worry about client thinking, you have playful company name with word "Media" inside, let the visual stay more abstract.By the way, does the Ferrari sell horses or is IBM some navy company?

Maybe the connections 99+10 is too much...and we lost push button connotation.
Empty space is also part of design like water is part the soup.And dont afraid simplicity, it is great value in visually overcrowded world. Remember, the logo must work also in small sizes(on the bussiness cards) and sometimes on the rough paper (newspapers)

There is no possibility to integrate infinite symbol(drawing and composition problem). Anyway, too much symbols in one design is confusing for customers.Figure of harlequin is visually quite potent
